I went from Smalltalk to Java in 1996 and didn't like its implementation. In Smalltalk, EVERYTHING inherited from TOFU (Top OF Universe). Not so in Java. Haven't done it for some years, but I thought it wasn't very elegant.
The keyboard I am currently using is about 8 years old. It is a Compaq and has been through the dishwasker 11 times. It works great. I put it in the top rack and use no soap and then let it air dry for 3-4 days. I don't let it go through the drying cycle in the diswasher.
I thought they had some of the worst policies possible. Bloated is an understatment. Their internal "professional certification" program would make an excellent Monty Python skit.
This is one bright side of becoming disabled. I don't have to work there anymore.
I will continue to use Win 2K and XP for as long as I can and when they are no longer usable, I will switch to Linux. Maybe even sooner.
I simply do not understand how MS can be so ignorant as to make what I think are dumb business decisions. Of course I could be totally wrong and perhaps the majority of individuals and businesses will just gripe about MS and swallow the poison anyway. I hope not....
I am impressed. As far as the reference to Lucy goes, think of the episode where she has taken a job in a candy factory.
Us rednecks call it bait. I don't eat bait.

Whenever I hear the word activist, I reach for my revolver.
I bet your revolver is "sturdy" rather than "crumply."
Lighter and much less sturdy cars will lead to perhaps 10,000 more deaths per year.
What is trollish about this? It is true.

Just saying.....
Proper commenting is a blessing, not a curse. But I have noticed over the years that many coders need to learn proper grammar and spelling.
“This are a funktion to comput the valu of pie”
You do need a bit of speed for sniping on ebay auctions.
But how about that maximum thing when buying pills to "extend your tool?"
That ET will find us with a microscope.
Let the new interface have "unthread" and the ability to turn threading off. Please, please, please....

For finding this funny? Nah....
This story has the tinfoil hat community buzzing.

The only decent paroday of Guantanamera is "One Ton Tomato" and there are numerous versions of that.
I fully expect to see "Google buys USA for 12.4 trillion"
The cure will come a day after I assume room temperature. I have had it for 59 years. Hanging in there...
The Linux crowd for instance. If this doesn't drive more companies to Linux, I am not sure what will.

I thought the heaviest element was Spamium which is destroying Internetium.
Is it important to know, in real-time, where emergency crews are?
Perhaps lawyers think so.
I really don't care if they use the word genuine or if they even tweak the definition. I don't think they did, however.
MS gives us plenty of "genuine" annoyances. Stick to complaining about those.
