Wouldnt it be cheaper for an IT manager on a tight budget to stick with 2000 Server rather than 2003 Server. I know I dont need it and I have a tight budget. We have most of our infrastructure already upgraded to win2k server at-least the stuff that will be migrated over. We will not be upgrading to 2003 server but rather get it as it comes preloaded on any new servers we buy.
yea and linux on the desktop will take off people will like open office.. I support peopel who bearly know how to use windows i.e what is the start button.... they have worked here for 3+ freekin years wtf have they been doing... all i want is for someone to know the 1st layer.. but to ask them to know the 1st layer on kde and windows is too much...
what about if it used DMA from the boot program. from what i have read and a few guesses it sounds like dms isnt turned on for the drive when its being used from the bios
Actually the agrement that we have with microsoft being an enterprise customer we get every update to any product they release. We pay a flat fee every 3 years and get any thing they release in that time frame. yes it does cost a lot but we have over 2,000 servers and 15,000 desktops worldwide buying a copy of server for each server and a copy of office for every desktop.
Ok so where is there a number I can call and talk to an MS Tech that will let me know how to fix a problem with out having to pay something like $100/hr??
The reason no one calls about bugs is that there is no one place at MS to call.... I work in an IT dept... We log all our calls about Outlook and windows and other problems maybe we should send them a quarterly report....
but microsoft has no need to run windows on different hardware it use to run on apple hardware, rather PowerPC's, but the last thing that microsoft wants is to support 2 maybe 3 different codebases they are having enought problems with trying to switch to a 64-bit codebase.
but... the play station emulator was sold to sony who which killed the project... so sony owns all rights to it. MS would have to buy sony to do that (dont give them any ideas)... or write a new psx emulator...
yea but with a Quad Intel Xeon MP Processors 2.0GHz with 400MHz and 24GB of Registered ECC DDR SDRAM DIMM should be able to run a few instances of NT 4.0

ok use latex gloves and clean it off with ammonia once you have in the final place to remove any traces of you and your apartment.

the book was a really good read. the movie dumped all the parts that made you think and made it an action movie
"A SAM in enemy airspace would be more than capable of taking down a 747"
thats why it has a laser to shoot down missles including the ones aiming at it.
also it would be site:support.microsoft.com
but they could googled for how to do that too...
try using google... limit it to MS's kb site...

but there is a clause that says except when using any type of VM software they already though of that.
