I've not seen hand wringing over a person deciding to use Snopes as a fact checker, other than to counter with a fact checker of their own, or just pointing out that Snopes is lame front for the DNC.

I would counter that with the observation that renewables ARE the future. Price of solar cells are falling according the the normal market pattern, have already reached short payoff times, and continue to go down. Even if you accept the worst of the alarmists at their word, what we need is extra time. Meanwhile, CO2 is leveling off even though a couple major countries are indutsrializing.
A couple hundred mil for a few years to let things cool down with a reversable process (stop spraying and everything falls down in a few days or weeks), doesn't sound like a bad idea.

I doubt that processing their entire database would make my phone sweat. I can't imagine that the city has more than a few million properties to deal with.

Point is, I don't need a mathematically exhaustive model of the atmosphere to predict wind two days from now. I just need to look where the wind is coming from to see what's coming. When I was a kid, I learned:

The one I worked around 25 years ago had a bumper that doubled as a kill switch. About 2lbs of pressure is all it took to stop it.

For goodness sake, very single Republican since Reagan, no matter how conciliatory, has been labeled as a racist.
