yes, then I svn commit the changes and magically, within a day, it gets all put back onto the same line again! It is almost like someone else LIKES it like that!
If she uses Word, then like me she probably has problems opening other peoples Word files! Not just formatting but crashes too! Word on Mac is a PoS. I usually end up just importing doc files into TextEdit.app, it does a better job!!!
As much as I want an iPhone myself, the iPhone IS using LGPL'd software (at least KHTML) and Apple IS restricting me from upgrading/modifying the LGPL'd portion.
This is in violation of the spirit, if not the letter of the LGPL2.
I believe that if it were under the LGPL3 it would be in direct violation.
What they DO is they bring insecurity to every sector of government and society that they touch, in the name of "Security"
It is all about optics... It doesn't matter that their computers are insecure... obviously the problem is that the fact that their computers are insecure should be a top-secret fact. It is not something that they feel needs to be fixed. They are only there for the illusion.
Do you have a reference for your claim that GCC generates derived works or may be modified to? Stallman has publicly supported different licenses for different projects - including the BSD license for specific situations.
FSF/GNU own the copyright to GCC... They can do anything they want with it. Just like microsoft had at one time special wording in their Visual C++ license saying that you were not allowed to create a competitor to Word/Office with it.
I base this on the same proof that microsoft has shown. There is exactly the same amount of proof that microsoft has violated the GPL as there is proof that 'linux' violates Microsoft's patents. ie: NONE.
BTW, many open source programs are incredibly good. Valgrind is one of them, which goes way beyond anything that microsoft has.
Lone developer sues Microsoft for Microsoft's GPL and copyright violations of lone developer's software.
Microsoft counter-sues lone developer because of the unknown microsoft patents that he has violated and that other developers, distributors and end users have specifically paid microsoft protection money for.
A precedent has been set - more than a few linux oriented companies are "paying" microsoft for unknown patent licensing because of linux.
I developed the The Internet Filter back in 1995. We have a 'transparent' list policy so you know what is being blocked and what is not being blocked.
You can see our entire database at research.vision-options.com. Apparently, a lot of people use our list as a jumping off point for their porn adventures. This causes a lot of bandwidth usage...
So we put ads on our list page as well as more information about porn addiction, internet filter circumventors, and other topics.
Without people being scared of porn on the internet there would be no need for internet filters.
My Apple ][ was something that challenged and taught me.
Woz is brilliant and I spend countless hours pouring over the big red book with the fold out schematic of the Apple ][. Not only open source but open hardware too. The Apple ][ was fundamental in my development as a computer programmer.
Computers now have lost the special aspects of the Apple ][... simplicity and understandability.
1) produce poor quality music 2) sell less albums 3) blame pirating and internet radio for their reduced sales 4) tax internet radio and sue everyone else for pirating even if they are not pirating..5) profit!!!
The real commercials are embedded into the content of the tv shows.

You know what is more annoying? Trying to edit code where there is ONE line of code that is over 2000 characters long!!!

As others have posted, javascript is only one way to implement the hack. the HTML tags: img, form, a, and iframes all have the capability too!

Truth is that hardly anything on TV is worth watching anyways... My Myth TV box sits idle nowadays anyways.

yes.
It could be that the javascript features enabled in the iPhone provide everything you need to do to make a 'killer' app.

That is one of the big legal problems with linux in general. Many unreachable copyright holders.

There! There's one! Get him!

What features are needed in a classroom? Besides of course teaching "Microsoft Word" which no one utilizes properly anyway?

I don't think you are talking about linux terminal services... Perhaps you are thinking of the limitations of windows terminal services?

Yes, most likely Microsoft is violating the GPL and is trying to protect their own butts and spin things the other way...

What if the types of v1 and v2 was the T in template ? Then addVector() doesn't make sense. '+' does...

Yes, in HiRes mode... But in lo-res mode it always had 16 colors... perfect for playing Breakout!

Wow, that really makes me wonder about anyone who WANTS to work for microsoft....

This works into their grand master plan:
..5) profit!!!
1) produce poor quality music
2) sell less albums
3) blame pirating and internet radio for their reduced sales
4) tax internet radio and sue everyone else for pirating even if they are not pirating
