    ou heard the president right? Get back to normal life. This is normal life in America. This just shows you how insular our lives have become. Even though the events of 9/11 were a tragedy on a grand scale they still don't come to affect a lot of people. Yes, the items posted on this site a lot of times don't mean diddly squat in life but that applied as much before 9/11 as as it does now.

    Yeah because everybody that uses windows needs no support. It's a false argument. Yeah there is a learning curve but in my experience implementers of unix tech vs windows tech, the unix implementors acutally have a clue and didn't receive a piece of paper that says "me admin good"

    You know, I didn't vote for either one but the whining about this gets old. There were TWO MILLION mis-votes nationwide. Florida was not the only place that irregularities took place. Stallman is obviously a biased opionated individual, we all are. Richard is an elitist though always believing that his right and never yielding, him and Saddam and Osama really are quite alike.

    Window rules the desktop, it's hegemony will not be destroyed. Linux is becoming the premier unix workstation/server. It was never wise to try to compete with Windows on the desktop. The desktop is like the appliance market and the gap is just way to wide.
