So much for your "no other country is interested in playing amreican football" theory. Since the Scottish Claymores are, IN FACT, an NFL football team playing IN THE UK.
ianad, but I think that removing the lungs, even for a few minutes would probably be a bit more invasive than the liver. Not that it isn't possible, no doubt.
I see a lot of comments saying that the distances from the c.o. are too far in the US, but in Canada, where we have a smaller population and larger landmass, the largest provider is Bell Sympatico's DSL service. http://www.isp-planet.com/research/rankings/canada.html Maybe people are overlooking the fact that a c.o. isn't necessarily the head office of the phone company, but there are many of these in each city.
Personally, I tried cable but found there was far too much variance in speed. Before I moved (farther from the c.o.) I was on their 3meg service and was consistently getting speeds ov about 2700kB. Now, on the 1meg service, I'm getting about 920kB consistently. With Rogers my speed varied drastically, unfortunately can't remember what the top speeds were, but the low ends were around 50kB.
I think this is pretty cool - I have used yahoo news in the past, but it is much more limited.
I agree logging in would be messy, but a 3-click (country-state-city) customization process, with the results stored in a cookie, without requiring a login, wouldn't be too difficult for most users. My big disappointment - news.google.ca doesn't have a Canada section, and news.google.co.uk doesn't have a UK section.
I'm looking at 4 more semesters to finish my CIS degree. It looks like I may be able to get an ECON major also, but it will take me one extra semester, depending on course availablility. But I also have the option of graduating in 2 semesters with a general (vs. honours) degree. I have a fairly secure job, with a big co., when I graduate, so the economy is not too big an issue.
My biggest question is whether or not it is worth hanging around for the honours. Most of what I hear is "You just need a degree", but I don't know. At this point it is twice as long to get the honours. If I do hang in for that, I'd definitely go for the 2nd major - really think it would be worthwhile.
As for the original poster's case - no doubt about it, if it's not going to cost you extra time, it's worth the extra effort.
Ok, maybe off topic - I don't know. I didn't read the article, because it's too long and I need to go to bed, but...
Is there not economic problems with opening the market to large numbers of broadband providers. Opening up the market may bring new providers in the short run, but will they be able to compete? I think it would be especially difficult in both the cable and DSL markets where the infrastructure is already in place. Then there is wireless - when, or if, wireless broadband becomes competitive, it should open the market up.
Last week, my power supply went, taking with it all hardware attached to the board(video, audio, ide, eth, etc). I didn't see any fire, but smelt something funny for a few seconds. I'm amazed, though I had never thought about it before, that there was no protection of the devices. I have much more respect for power supplies now, and will worry about dust there, not just in the case.
At least I have an excuse to get a new pc now, I just wish I could have kept the data(note to self-back up more than once a month)......roll_w.it
Maybe you're lucky with Shaw, but with Sympatico there are bandwidth caps and tiered pricing. Rogers has already said that they're going to follow suit.
I know I'm probably going to stop downloading isos. I was definitely over 5G last month, and at $8/G over, I can't afford it.
I kinda think I think it's funnier though. The 'lead developer' accidentally presses the pause button -> Everybody's been talking about how the controllers are too awkward...
U.S. aircraft were spotted in Uzbekistan on Sunday, a day after the country's president permitted U.S. warplanes and troops to use an Uzbek air base for any military operations against Afghanistan.
Apparently there is an NFL Europe of which the Scottish Claymores are a member.
That's enough for today, back to sleep.BTW: Real cyclists don't wear underwear.
BTW: Real cyclists shave their legs
Or for those who are mouse-challenged
alt-v, o
So then Sunday is really the 5th then?

May be interesting that he has a new album to be released in September.

Was it an accident though?
Thanks! Nice job.
The Alliance between the Canadian Reform Conservative Alliance and the Progressive Conservatives will be there for sure...
