...From my G5 in my office, to the projector in my home theater. This will probably be the kiss of death to my web server, but oh well. Check it out HERE.
I can flip the input on the projector to the VGA connection from the Mac, and see the G5 desktop, including the iTunes visualizer (very f'n cool!). iTunes audio is transmitted wirelessly via AirPort Express and AirTunes. The projector has a USB output port, which is plugged into the Mac using a USB repeater. The projector remote becomes a wireless mouse, for controlling iTunes, and anything else I want to see or hear. Got analog audio cabling for non-AirTunes audio on a different input on my receiver.
You don't really care where the CPU is located, as long as you have a display and input device.
Don't hook up a multimeter to try to figure out the voltage of the bulb (I have a physics degree, btw). Sure, it's not enough to kill you, but it's PLENTY to fry the meter.
My degree is in Physics from Virginia Tech, but the funniest thing I heard or saw while I was there was a sign while I was looking for the Philosophy Department to force-add a class that I needed to graduate. It read simply "Is this the Philosophy Department?" And I knew I was in the right place.
I work for AOL Time Warner, and it was indeed, a directive that came from the top. We *had* to use Netscape 6.2 for all corporate email. Truth be told, the Netscape client is buggy enough, but the real kicker was the AOL email servers that we have to connect to... Unreachable perhaps 25% of the time, and totally unfit for professional use.
Funny thing is, this Slashdot article is the first I've heard about switching back! Mega-corporation which will be crushed under its own weight? Naaa.
I was getting sick of eating my own dogfood, anyway.
Those young'uns who play computer games _moderately_ are probably already well-adjusted and well-rounded. I see no evidence to indicate that playing computer games moderately contributes to these attributes, but is rather a side effect of their inherent personality types.

That's a negatory. MPE/iX has supported HFS directories since version 4. They're on v6.5 now.
Yup. The Ramones are from Queens, and there's only one Rockaway Beach that I'm aware of.
This is the funniest thing I've read on /. for a long time. Mod this up, please!!!
