The Buffalo one runs DD-WRT, so it seems like a good choice..

I don't get why so many people complain.
It's only on the Chrome netbook.
You won't use legacy decades old applications on it.
You won't even have a terminal.
You will just browse the web.
You will far often want to search the web (and press that new key) then you want to write lots of letters all in caps,
which you still can with shift.
So, yes. Get rid of that useless key, please!

Honestly, i don't think that would happen, i hope that it may be open sourced and that Android will get some "high quality" video stuff (as far as you can get that on mobile displays).

In fact it is designed in such an awesome way, that you only need one binary package for every phone and resolution.
Get your facts straight, before posting bullshit, thanks.

You better compare python to other dynamic scriptlanguages instead of C or Java. One should probably take the languageshootout on alioth.debian.org with a grain of salt (as i didn't look into the implementation of the benchmarks), but supposed that the benchmarks are equally well written, you'll see that python compares very well against php or perl. Java is a lot faster, but eats a lot more memory. Then again, Java is a lot different to Python. Let alone C.
