It's more than just physical and logical security. There is also psychological security, if you will. All the physical and logical security in the world won't protect you from social engineering.

After our new logo was featured on Slashdot, we have received a ton of email asking where to obtain a LOGO Interpreter for Linux. This is the LOGO interpreter we used to create our new, um, logo:
But that's only if they find an overflow in inetd. In inetd.conf you can tell inetd to run a process as a user other than root. Then all the processing is done as, say, nobody.
Other than the tty and authentication seperation, this doesn't sound a whole lot different than running sshd out of inetd. Or have I been smoking crack again without my knowledge?

I usually use NiMH batteries when walking. They last a few hours without charging. I recently used a pair of alkaline AAs for a two week trip through Europe and only had to change them once! Granted I didn't use it constantly, but I did use it quite a bit.
I use gpspoint on Linux for saving, uploading, and downloading routes, waypoints, and tracks.
For decades now I have used/usr/bin/bc as my personal finance software. Give it just one try and you'll never go back to GUIs again. (I'm currently using v1.06 from GNU.)
