Do you have a personal wiki, a blog, or maybe a series of tablet based notes, or voice recordings"
What? Your a student. Not a CEO. If you have so much data and photo's that it requires a database and a wiki to keep track of then its probably not making your life any better. Try spending some time enjoying life rather then organizing and documenting it.
The SkyNet funding bill is passed.
The system goes online on August 4th, 2017.
Human decisions are removed from strategic defense.
SkyNet begins to learn at a geometric rate.
It becomes self-aware at 2:14am Eastern time, August 29th. In a panic, they try to pull the plug.
And, Skynet fights back...and goes for the cheese.
Even though the web of today offers so much more I still sometimes miss the times of BBSes.. My old Laser Turbo XT was great "online" with its CGA color screen,st-225 HD, and 2400bps Hayes modem. Beautiful 80x24 ANSI art..
I used to play Falcons Eye, Planets TEOS, and BRE.. I never really got in to LoRD.
I forget which game it was but one of them used to reset your turns at 12am so it was a rush at midnight to be the 1st one in on the single line BBS to get a jump on everyone else. One of them (I think BRE?) used to pit BBS vs BBS. The game would dial the other systems at night to sync up all the moves and data.
So? Who cares what their reasons are. They are still fighting new taxes. Whether they do it for "the greater good" or to protect their bank account matters little to me. Governments at the state and federal levels need to be scaling back their budgets, not growing them.
This must be related to the 200+ emails in my MS Exchange inbox that have the subject "Here you have" and a link in the body to a PDF file.....in other news i just heard that apple is going to allow Adobe Flash on the iphone.. Im sure that will turn out great.
Ok. These scientists keep saying GW is happening. OK. The earth is warming up. We get it.
So why are they wasting so much time trying to prove this? Are they just burning through grant money?
IF GW is caused by humans what do they suggest we do? No one is proposing a viable solution to the problem. People are not going to give up their cars. Al Gore will not give up his privet jet and mansion. China will not cut its coal use and carbon output. I can't ride a windmill to work.
Passing tons of laws in the EU and the USA will do nothing. It just pushes the problem to china and India. Shutting down a EPA regulated widget factory in Pennsylvania doesn't help the Earth because that widget will just be made in China with zero regulation. The end resolt will just be more hardship for us and the earth being worse off.
Until someone comes up with a better energy source then oil that is cheaper and easier this will never get solved. GW will just continue to be a political football for the Republicrats and Demopublicans to further their agendas.
Get back to us when you have a SOLUTION to the problem. Re-defining the problem and pointing fingers isnt going to fix shit.
Southwest flies to 69 cities in 35 states. Albany, Albuquerque, Amarillo, Austin, Baltimore/Washington, Birmingham, Boise, Boston Logan, Buffalo, Burbank, Chicago (Midway),Cleveland,Columbus,Corpus Christi,Dallas (Love Field) Denver Detroit (Metro) El Paso Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood Ft. Myers/Naples Harlingen/South Padre Island Hartford/Springfield Houston (Hobby) Indianapolis Long Island (MacArthur) Jackson Jacksonville Kansas City Las Vegas Little Rock Los Angeles (LAX) Louisville Lubbock Manchester Midland/Odessa Milwaukee Minneapolis/St. Paul Nashville New Orleans New York (LaGuardia) Norfolk Oakland Oklahoma City Omaha Ontario Orange County Orlando Panama City Beach Philadelphia Phoenix Pittsburgh Portland Providence Raleigh-Durham Reno Sacramento St. Louis Salt Lake City San Antonio San Diego San Francisco San Jose Seattle/Tacoma Spokane Tampa Tucson Tulsa Washington, DC (Dulles) West Palm Beach
Ive been coast to coast and many places in between on Southwest. I'ed say they do good for an airline that doesn't go anywhere
Their ticket price may be a few bucks more but.. They don't nickle and dime me. They don't charge to check your bag. They don't charge for the crappy airline food. They don't have assigned seating They are easy to deal with. And they seem to adapt to the times.
You check your self in online the night before. The people who check in 1st get a lower boarding group. You print your boarding pass at home. When you get to the airport you hand the well staffed baggage desk your bags and check your self in on the touch screen where you have the option of reprinting your boarding pass if you lost it.
When i get to my airport I look over at the other airlines and see 2 people trying to deal with lines a mile long. Southwest has 4 or 5 people working the check in and hardly any line.
Southwest changes with the times and makes a profit. They seem to understand that if you make your customers happy they will keep coming back. Everyone else is operating the same old inefficient way..pissing people off.. and loosing money.
Optimum is Cablevision. They serve NYC and southwestern CT. They don't really care about their PR and they have tons of lawyers. Good luck in small claims..
So your in government and you want your office to keep certain records and info free from FOIA. You also want to keep tabs on the "other team" but on the DL...
What do you do?
1) Give all your records to an outside organization. 2) Grant that organization immunity from FOIA. 3) And for an added bonus make this organization immune from search and seizure laws.. 4) ??? 5) Profit!
Now they can do all your digging for you with out the hassles of warrants or probable cause.. and anything they find is untouchable..
Collapsible steering column is something special in the 1980s? Sorry.. Invented by mercades in 1959 and standard in the "big 3" by 1968/69. Saab EFI? Again.. nothing special. It was a Bosch Jetronic system.. found in many VW's, MB's, Fords, BMW's, Volvo's of the time.. composite headlights? Even the Mustang had them by '88. The only reason sealed beam stuck around so long in the USA was because of the dumb ass DOT.
So what great advances did SAAB come up with? Oh ya.. the key in the console and big buttons... you got me there:P
You could trap digital channels no problem.. It all depends on how the channel plan is laid out. If your B1 is analog ch2-26 And your B2 is analog 27-70 and this is what you have your traps set to notch out... You could put the B1 digital channels ABOVE the "trap" and mix your B2 ClearQAM's in unused channels 27-70.
Im not up on how switched video works but for normal digital TV this would work fine.
We tried to have it setup like this in the system I work in but we needed the space for HD so B2 digital and HD QAM's started showing up in unused B1 space and above our deployed traps... the plan was abandoned. Now only B1 is in the clear.
So how about it /.?
I see alot of posts criticizing the implementation of this "Dead Drop" system.
Anyone else here have a better idea?
Maybe some super cheap hacked routers with open wifi and ftpd?
Or how about a blue-tooth device cemented in the sidewalk?
I live near NYC... i think it would be cool to come up with a "off the grid" sneakernet..
Have you tried the "Not giving a fuck" method?

Everyone make "bit.ly" shortcuts to places like pornotube,tube8,xvideos,etc and email them to the contacts found at http://nic.ly/contactus.php

Remember what happened to Warden William Smithers in that movie?
That's how this is going to end up...
Thank you. And BE well.

Cry me a river...
With the US hitting double digit unemployment I would bet there are a few people who would be happy to do that coding for HALF of what he is making.

How the hell did he get the boot off his car? Does he have some super terrorist lock picking skillz or just a set of bolt cutters?
