    I wish someone would write an app were you can press a button on the phone and hang up and a smart adaptive talking application takes over and provides selective responses such as "can you repeat that bit again" or "right, tell me more" or "cool sign me up" and massively wastes these evil telemarketers time.

    I settle for a satellite that will identify the call center of the telemarketers and nuke it from orbit... or at least dispatch attack drones to level the building.

    Everybody wants their cake and eat it too. Cut this, somebody whines. Cut that, somebody else whines. It never ends. Budget is so full of earmarks and entitlements a balanced budget is but a pipe dream. It's not by accident that nobody ever cuts social security for the retired, despite all their contributions are long gone, decades ago. Retirees generally outlives their contributions, yet they're all still receiving their benefits. Cutting that is like licking the electrified third rail and nobody that wants to remain in elected orifice would dare to even suggest touching it.

    Watch all the whiners about how Democrats is bankrupting the country would abruptly change their tune when their benefits are on the chopping block.

But YOU ARE EXPECTED TO COOPERATE by supplying the hardware that can read these "obscure" formats on demand, or they will be confiscate all the same, AND you will be detained. Remember ports of entry these days are constitution-free-zone.

    For this scheme to work, the toxic app host/author has to know and a sense of moral. The very fact these apps exists implies their host/authors either have weaken or non-existent sense of moral, therefor this scheme will never fly.
