A lot of companies purposely don't call back candidates that they aren't 100% on--they want to see if you have 1 ounce of gumption in your bones. Apparently you are lacking (I'm referring to the fact that you took no initiative to contact them and get a status update).
"I was under the impression in the cases of file sharers they've actually had to demonstrate having downloaded an entire file to prove infringement, merely receiving half a file isn't enough as half a file may quite often be nothing but useless data." When people at the flea-market near me that were selling Asian knock-off DVDs lacking credits were stormed by the po-po, I don't think they were successful in using the "but we didn't include the credits; it's not the whole work!" defense.
No way! As the poster says linux fails because of "a decade of failure in supplanting Microsoft's proprietorial OSes with it". BSD succeeded on that count. So did ReactOS, AROS, Mona and Syllable. I agree with the poster--why stick with a loser when we have had 5 successes?
Whoa whoa whoa. You can't exactly blame him. According to Jesus, this is the reason he uses parables:
Mark 4:33-34 Using many similar parables, he spoke the word to them, as much as they could understand. He would only speak to them using parables. Mark 4:10 When he was alone, those around him and the Twelve asked him about the parables. Luke 8:10 He said, 'The secret of the kingdom of God is granted to you.' Mark 4:11-12 'But to those on the outside, everything comes in parables so that they may look and look but never perceive, listen and listen but never understand.' Mark 4:12 'Otherwise they might change their ways and be forgiven.' So you see, parables are used so that those that don't already know god can't learn anything from them, I mean jeez, otherwise they might change their ways and be forgiven.
Can you tell the name of the suite you use? Or give a link? 90+% is hard to believe, and I would be really interested in seeing the types of containers/safety precautions they use.
who is going to invest in a business competing with the US government? Wow, I can't believe Fedex doesn't have investors. What are they doing on the stock market!?!
Australians have no laws about applying retroactive laws to people? In the US, if I do something that isn't legal today, no law can be made tomorrow to retroactively affect me. Is it different there?
Well considering that the cash flow of an operation like facebook winds up near 100% profit (servers, bandwidth, few employees), and the profit in the cash flow of a costco store doesn't come close (building rent, they items they are selling aren't free, returns, service, etc.) it doesn't seem very fair.
Hmmm... you sound like a "paragraph guy" and not a paragraphs guy. If you feel OK having no one read further than I did, blah blah blah I didn't read any further.
Please use paragraphs.

SPEs aren't pipelined, so why do they need branch prediction? I'm confused.
"And why we should throw our pearls before swine, as they may turn and rend us."
Sounds plausible; but wait, isn't that exactly what Jesus then supposedly did by giving his life for us?

No good; if it is American ketchup, you'll have to watch out for diabetes.
Until they decide to have two good space based telescopes at opposite sides of their orbits,
Huh? Take a picture. Wait 180 days. Take a picture. Bingo. (err.. guess it won't work for supernova)

Why don't they use scooters to get to work?
Sorry I was just going based on the thread: "Does anybody else have any recommendations for good FOSS games ?" Glace isn't one.
Hey Malthus, you were debunked years ago.
Are the developers assuming that the kids who'll be getting them are somehow less able to learn than kids in our home countries?
No. They are assuming they have to deal with a small screen.
Type a non-indexed URL into Google and you get a page with a link to it.

Playstation is part of their content arm; they lose money on every console sold.
Blind folks can type just fine.
You're right! Nothing to do at all! For anyone!
Glace is not Free Software.
Hmm, spend $250 on the Wii, or buy $15 'Operation' game from Mattel.
What prevents someone who has stolen the disk from modifying the program to not do the sw timeout loop?
