    A lot of companies purposely don't call back candidates that they aren't 100% on--they want to see if you have 1 ounce of gumption in your bones. Apparently you are lacking (I'm referring to the fact that you took no initiative to contact them and get a status update).

When people at the flea-market near me that were selling Asian knock-off DVDs lacking credits were stormed by the po-po, I don't think they were successful in using the "but we didn't include the credits; it's not the whole work!" defense.

    No way! As the poster says linux fails because of "a decade of failure in supplanting Microsoft's proprietorial OSes with it". BSD succeeded on that count. So did ReactOS, AROS, Mona and Syllable. I agree with the poster--why stick with a loser when we have had 5 successes?

    Whoa whoa whoa. You can't exactly blame him. According to Jesus, this is the reason he uses parables:

    Well considering that the cash flow of an operation like facebook winds up near 100% profit (servers, bandwidth, few employees), and the profit in the cash flow of a costco store doesn't come close (building rent, they items they are selling aren't free, returns, service, etc.) it doesn't seem very fair.
