I've been using the image search for google the past week or so for a current project. I would like to see some additional search fields for size and format, but you can enter it as a string right now. Also being able to see the page it came from is great for searching, but I can see it being easily abused to drive traffic to a site.
Oh searching tips: The mature content filter actually works and always click the link to see the omitted results of your search if your just browsing the thumbnails.
I always wanted to play chess without the gov't looking over my shoulder. They always try to recoed my strategies....Ok, the spec for the game would allow encrpyted based input, but its not using new ideas, no compression, and a very primiative overall. I know when your developing on a beta level platform you take it slow. But sheesh, Is this what developers want for FreeNet? I mean its slow already, do we really want to waste all that bandwidth just to play turned-based games. I think not.
During the battle for world domination, I bought a Game Gear instead of a green screen gameboy. After the demise of the platform I took mine apart and took out the screen and backlight. You may be able to retrive an old gamegear for about $20 bucks, remove the backlight (its a small florescent blub), and hook up power, and you got your solution. Why nintendo stuck with the crap green screen so long is beyond me. Just don't shock yourself to badly.

This show proves if you mix the best parts of Sci-Fi into one series, well you get something that looks like a pile of vomit being played with by a mesomorphic Ally McBeal. I've seen the show a few times.
Quest:Voyager
Special Effects:Babylon5
Characters: Anyone a UPN (Ugly People Network) Plus the show is a direct ripp off of Farscape.
When money or profits is at steak (mmm...Steak) business logic and common sense are not two in the same. Of course it would make sense to recoupe losses by charging a penny on the dollar for music, but any company with investors would never accept such a legimate loss. By proclaiming all music that is not paid in full via retail outlet can be declared illegal and be omitted from the general ledger. It is still a business, and no business would ever destroy their precious gross product earnings by supporting such a weak revenue model.
As history has proven if software(OS) confines itself to a particulary device(PDA), the development of that platform is based on the demand of the device. And in a market as saturated and funded had handhelds, I doubt the Amiga OS will become the superstar without multiple(more than 2) device vendors(successful). To bad though, I would have liked to see it suceed.
Well, first once a rocket is lit, it will consume all fuel, period. By the time a parachute could survive opening, the fuel would be expended. In order to stop the rocket immeditaly, all fuel must be consumed at once..BOOM All rockets that have a severe malfunction are ultimatly destroyed during flight, if the X43 had separted it could have been recovered, the rocket would be destroyed on impact anyway.
Ok, I'm sure we all want to see the "real TV" footage of the test flight. Unfortunaly, considering your above the pacific ocean strapped on the belly of a B-52 you would have only two viewing points and both would be mounted on an aircraft. Needless to say a photo of a mach 7-10 rocket dropping from plane through tempered glass and plastic for "seconds" would be a little more than a glare. Sorry to be the bearer of reality. I would have like to see the project to suceed, would have made traditonal jet engines obsolete and affordable. Making my dream of a Jet-powered oldsmobile a reality........
Sure I was conducting market research in the early 90's, You know those cool little keystoke logs you could install on the Mac's and PC's at the local university. Sure nothing but research Detective, I swear. (With the current state of business ethics, I'm real sure they will protect my privacy)
I can use my rebate coupon from the class action suit to buy a drive that will destroy an entire year of data instead of a week's worth. Click....Click....Click....
In the society we all have created on-line, many organizations and companies have created credit reports, blacklist, and "consumer protection" software. The idea is sound, however the implantation is unacceptable. Many services are quick to block, ban or badmouth anyone or anything on the Internet with out a minutes' worth of investigation. And it is damned near impossible to clear someone of these "charges". Ever try to clear up a faulty credit report or get off a banned site list for censor ware? It is likely I the future there will be some checks and balances for reporting and censor. Just hope your company doesn't get tagged.
This post of "how many hours to you work" seems just to be a forum for the ego. What/. reader doesn't brag or complain about how much they work. At one time in life everyone has worked some mind-boggling amount of hours in a week/month. The kicker is; was it worth it? Did your project rise from the ashes because of your selfless dedication to the company or did your efforts go to waste when you realized that no one noticed?
Remeber the old joke/debate/urban_ledgend about if automobiles had advanced as rapidly as computers? If it only took one laptop to cause a recall for dell, but 49 deaths to cause a tire recall from FORD...I would say that the forces at work (competiton, hackers, civil lawyers)seem to have a niche for finding "major" flaws in rather stable products, instead of "Exploding, Death-inducing, bone-breaking flaws" in mass market products get recongition only after regulations and lawsuits.
I understand your defense of Apple, I will direct you to the source of the specific abuses/misuses http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/apsl.html
As for M$ corp. the details can be found in the anti trust case and in the "infamous" slashdot post http://slashdot.org/articles/01/03/31/207205.shtml
It seems that the new trend for major corporations (Apple, Sony, M$, et al) is to use open source code to save develpoment cost. Thats great, but only if they give the back to the community. Who is going to enforce the GPL? Who has the resources? As a developer I'm concerned, as a Open_source supporter I'm out-raged.

If the new akira games have the same content as the movie and the interface of godgames' "ONI", it will be on my box soon.
Finals start at 1:00, Semis are on now, Some type of obstacle course and some descent house music in the background
I can see it now: Bright yellow signs in public restrooms:
