Having two cats myself, I set up my computer so it was impossible for them to get near any of the cables. It's even sufficiently ferret-proofed, in case I decide to get a couple of those.
The CD-ROM for the Super Nintendo *did* come out. It was in development by Sony, they decided to make it a stand alone machine, and yes, it's called the Playstation.

I have a feeling PM wants to keep Lionhead independent. If not, why would he have bothered to leave Bullfrog?

ATI might, if 1. they can catch up in hardware, and 2. they write better drivers.

I'm skeptical that there will ever be a "catch-all" browser. Different ones for different needs.
