    4% are using Mac, and 2% Linux.

    The wearables movement keeps rocking on.

    I have a condition which weakens my muscles, making a laptop a bitch for me to carry around. I am drooling in anticipation for my first wearables.

    Besides those with handicaps of any kind, wearables will be IT for the business traveller.

    I though, would like one to use during the day for work. Those glasses would be a godsend!


    BTW, does anyone know if these will work with the new Powerbook with the detachable screen coming out??

    I couldn't put it down, I did it in 4 days.

    GREAT book, more engrossing than Snow Crash, as engrossing as Diamond Age.

    - The Crypt is obviously what is referred to when Stephenspon said in "Snowcrash" that strong crypto brought down the old governmental structures.

    By the way, did anyone else catch that Miss Matheson in Diamond Age was Y.T. from Snow Crash? Or is it just me...

    Ever since reading that, I've been getting more and more paranoid with my communications. I applaud these efforts.

    But what WILL happen when all of our transactions and communications can be encrypted? Interesting question...

    I know flats are the wave of the future, but I think CRT's still have a place.

    But, Edward, BeOS isn't designed to be a multiuser technology.

    From what I've seen in this post, you have not one positive thing to say about Be at all. We've determined this OS is not, nor ever will be, for you.

    But I design multimedia. While it is also not for me right now, it might be in the future, so I watch it with interest.

    For servers, hacking, and networking, BeOS sucks. But for someone working with multi-gigabit files, BeOS could be right.

    Apples are apples and oranges are oranges. There is no need to flame the apples for being what they are.
