    Okay I will admit to reading this in a Tom Clancy book, but the best way to leaks is to make sure that every version of the document has suitable differences.

    In the examples given by Tom Clancy only the summary sections were different on the basis that Journalists were more likely to quote these than the dense text,

    Well if you are looking for IM on phones, then there is nothing like using Yahoo IM over WAP.

    Coupled with my free WAP tarrif... gives me somebody to talk to when I am taking the bus into work.....

    This supports round trip UML class engineering. And is a top class around IDE.

    This is new in JRE 1.4 that uses a XML file to define packages that a full up application might need. As part of this it can automatically pull the latest required JDK if it is required.

    A really good way to deploy java to the client side.

    Fair comment, I should have said that I used to pay for Wired.

    Still I pay nearly a hundred a year for New Scientist. And I get the full version on-line and searchable.

    Here Wired costs 4 UKP a month. So I am payout out 48ukp a year for this publication. And I have to sit through adverts on a paper version.

    Compared to this www.salon.com for 30 USD a year seems like a bargin.

    Nope ARM was design by ARM, a british company that was an offshoot of the ill faited Acorn Computers.

    Many companies now license ARM, being that it was soo cool. It was also the hart and soul of the RiscPC. Ahhhhh.

    Quick Errata.

    Java is multilanguage, there is a difference between the VM and the language Java. There are many different cross compilers for the Java around including COBOL. :-)

    Occures to me that IPv4 address are a nice size to remember. Four groups of three.

    Is anybody 'normal' going to be able to remember of the top of there head what IPv6 of the nearest gateway? :-)

    Sorta like memorizing MAC addresses as a hobby.

    Having looked at the gross destruction of our world bio-system I think I will have to take exception at this. Captilism has never taken into account natural resources and is slowly killing us.

    For example how can a system that requires continuous growth be usefully applied to a closed eco-system?

    I notice in the technical description there the CUB uses a custom monitor connection. Perhaps to support the digital monitor. Is this a worrying move away from the standards?

    We can only realy percieve into the 22Khz range, and falling as we get older.

    The reason why we need the higer frequencies that that they constructively interfere to produce virutal tones, or beats, at a lower part of the spectrum.

    Most of the new 'flat' speakers use this principle along the way ASFAIK. (Granted I only know what I have read in T3 magazine)

    So sampling upto 96kHz as I think SCD does will produce a better reproduction of the sound, at least when you take into account the acoustice of hte room.

    But then I could well be talking rubbish.

    Say you want to use the card on something other than windows, maybe in the future when the original card maker has gone bust.

    Having the source code means you could rebuild the driver for say a PowerPC machine. If you don't you rely on the card maker to provide proper drivers for all platforms which usually isn't possible.

    I think the theory is that both IO and Eurpoa have environments that are similar to ones on earth where we have found life.

    Jupiter is a better bet as we can pretty much guarentee that Galileo with be totally burn up if dropped on Jupiter. Also the extreme pressures mean that there are no environments that are similar to those on earth.

    But for those who have read 2001/2010/2061 stories, I can say I am worried we will splat some of those gase sac creature things!
