    $10 for everything is a great price. Warner brothers and others would learn a lot by pricing old TV shows, musical catalogs etc. at resonable prices.

    What they would learn, apparently, is that no matter what the price and how good the content, people will still try to get them for free.

    Try programming. You might find it entertaining.

    Yes. Programming is the best computer game ever. You get to invent your own plot as you go along, and the puzzles and challenges can last a lifetime. And it's text-based.

    So what? The purpose of moderation is to make more visible the better/more useful posts. The free link is useful. So the mod system functions. The fact that Karma gets distributed is a side-effect, not the purpose.

    And there's no guy whose job it is to watch every second of every patrol car's video tape as the cops come back from each shift, in case someone missed something - there can't be any such guy, because cops have budgets, and it'd be an utter waste of manpower.

    So it's not done because it's impractical. But one day it won't be impractical. And then everyone will be watched. All the time.

    Actually, you only have to be very afraid if you are not American. Americans can get by with just being afraid.

    Because it's one thing to promise a reward, but when other terrorist-dudes learn that this guy actually got paid there will be a line around the block to turn over more.

    I don't think there's a natural area of Earth that's completely devoid of life.....you'll find life forms...near some very hot thermal vents in the ocean floor.

    What about away from the thermal vents?
