    Of course you didn't. But the same people that wouldn't fall for that car dealer shit, will fall for this Facebook shit. Why? I don't know.

  4. The users trade their data to Facebook, in exchange for the illusion of time spent with friends. And now that Facebook owns that data, they sell that data. This is their business model. I don't see what there is to sue about.

    "A couple" is 2
    "A few" is 3 or 4 (in some cases, 5)
    "Several" is 5 6 7 8 or 9
    "A bunch" is the normal amount of something plus an additional .25% - .50%
    "A lot" is the normal amount of something x2
    "A shitload" is the normal amount of something x10
    "A fuckload" is the normal amount of something x10 and you're drunk.

    The only issue that I've ever had with AT&T crap in bridge-mode has to do with building VPN tunnels, but I have never experienced any NAT limits. Of course, AT&T changes hardware every few months, so maybe this is the case with some batch of their shitty hardware.

    AT&T allow for you to use your own router. They'll even assist you in putting their modem/router in bridge-mode.

    I live in lower Alabama, and we get a LOT of storms. Actually during certain parts of the year, it's common to have storms every day. A guy from California moved here and we became friends. The first storm that came through had heavy thunder. That guy didn't even know what thunder was, or that it was that loud. He ran down the street to his neighbor's house to ask them what he was supposed to do.

    Yeah, California does NOT have storms. ...probably why there are so many people in Cali - the weather's nice.

    Now THAT would be some transparency! And to my mind bring some degree of redemption to Facebook.

    Or, if they're honest about who's paying for what it may be the nail in the coffin for FaceBook, as them taking payments from powers in others countries, for ads on presidential campaigns, may piss some folks off - if this happens at FaceBook.

  25. Remember that AUS doesn't have anything like the 2nd amendment, and guns are fairly restricted. That means the methods of "terror" come from other methods for instance, in this case mass stabbings and so on.

    This is a very good point. I'm an American and have obviously grown very accustomed to guns being a thing (especially since I'm from Alabama where guns are quite normal).

    You should also note that in nearly every case that said AC mentioned, they were religiously motivated by muslim extremists. That does make it terrorism.
