    People differ so much, I tend to take it with a very large dose of salt when someone tells me such and such consequences are inevitable

    There is a lot of truth in what u're sayin. But the ones u mention are statistically rare cases. I wreck my circadian rythm every now and then and yes the next day is buzzed. What the article suggests is , unlike previous belief that it's like an account where you can lose some sleep and make up for it aint entirely true. It takes a while to make up for it.

    Just learning new tools seldom works for hackers. Hackers invariably look for efficiency which means the right tool for the job. There is not much sense in using for example C to write a wrapper or a log parsing script and likewize there is not much sense in using perl to write an operating system , Do more . u'll need more and u'll consequently know and learn more

    Irrespective of what sells and what does not , both the iphone and the android have let down the geeks. Iphone is a decent platform but the proprietary bulls**t of apple is anything by geekiness.. The android on the other hand is pure evil . based on big data money models , google cares a squat about the users. The application layer is inherently insecure and the whole open sauce thing is pseudo.
    IMHO Both are crap phones .

    2 Eco friendly ( at least relatively )
    3 Sensible and sustainable ( agnostic of governments )
