You're intentionally missing the point. there's a cultural history found in movies, tv and books that portray black people as subservient and uneducated stereotypes. This portrayal reinfoced class and racial structures of the day that served to keep black people "in their place". Long tradition of this. summary mentions stepin fetchet. uncle remus. blackface comedy. jar jar is a direct decendent of this line of humor. either you're being purposefully obtuse, or maybe you're from iceland or something and completely unexposed to american culture and history.

you don't know much about the south or southern culture. slavery was enshrined in the US constitution from day one: maybe the US flag is also racist? most of the "don't tread on me" founding fathers had slaves, so maybe that yellow flag with the snake is racist?

like my relationship setting on facebook, when it comes to the relationship between southerners and the confederate flag, "it's complicated." instead of spewing hate at a third of the nation, maybe you should pause to think on what you say.

I highly recommend you take a 5 min work break and read this. it's only a couple pages. pull quote:

In my view, the parties do not need a judge; what they need is a rather stern kindergarten teacher. I say this with the greatest of respect, as both the Plaintiffs and the Defendants are educated professionals who are successful in their work lives and are otherwise productive members of the community. Despite their many advantages in life, however, they are acting like children.
