  2. LOL, Yankees.com just bring down my Netscape 3.04 on Yankees.Com Hits A Home Run · · Score: 1

Yap, the best browser before Mozilla come out is totally crashed by the yankees.com.

Here is why JonKatz is worse than John C. Dvorak as far as journalism goes. Yankees.com is THE reason Derek Jeter lost to Nomar in the All Star voting. Yankees.com has more than 2 times the email add than the Redsox.com, yet it failed to generate decent online voters for Jeter, Redsox.com not only send a newsletter in the beginning on the ballot, it sends another emergency email to register users in the end, which boosted just enough votes to surpass Jeter. (who is leading every offensive catergory except doubles in AL now hud? hud?;)

As a big yankees fan, I never care about the site except I found online ticketMaster from there. And normal yankees fan doesn't care it either, in news:alt.sports.baseball.ny.yankees nobody mention it either, you can check Dejanews if you don't believe me.

I have actual experience with the Turnning story because I was moderator at the time. This things can make you really angry because you don't have enough point to shoot down the dickheads.

What I'm suggesting is the new system that designed for the "sudden explosion", how about a emergency detecting script that silently waiting for the "5 percent posts are troll" scenario and quickly react by shutting down the "0" post from the anonymous readers for a couple of hours and distribute addition mod points to current moderators.

    $500+100

    2) dvd +Sony Glasstron! simulates 38" screen in front of your eyes! 500+500, too rich for my blood, also I was turn off by mix review of glasstron (can't view too long; some people can't use it; LOOK LIKR AN ALIEN IN NEW YORK SUBWAY --why can't Sony make a rayband style glass?)

    3) My libretto + portable 2X dvd and a PCMCIA card, I only need to invest 500 more.

This is a very good solution, one thing that stops me is the DVD price. I watch a lot of movie every week, I have like 7 video rental cards in my pocket and I know all about their discount policy. For DVD rental I had to feed 3.7 to blockbuster. (there is another thing is that I really want to catch all the "Law and Order" and I don't believe the old movies I'm renting form the central libriry has release in DVD format yet.)

    4) So I finally find out this dream solution. It's light, this flexible, it can tape tv and movie in incredible resolution and brother, I can't afford it.
    http://bhphoto.com/video/sony%20prosumer/gvd300. html

It cost at least 1200 but blow out dvd format. Well maybe I'll buy it in two years.
