    Capitalism trumps democracy and republics.

It's still government by the We The People, but We The People are not affiliated with political parties or the voting system.

No, we're affiliated with Capitalism through our shareholder relationship.

    We vote by proxy.

Republicans, Democrats, Independents, alike, are loyal to the Capitalist party, first.

You and I are the source of any objections we have to that structure.

    Been there.

I've sweated blood during downtime, so I feel for you.

I was in Dallas at Mobil Place and my direct report said in conference that my site had no down time.

I coughed and said, "Excuse me sir. We've had downtime. I can give you the numbers, if you like."

He said, "Your site has no report of downtime."

I said, "I know. That's because you get those incident reports from my coworkers. I've been down some, but they didn't rat me out."

He was puzzled and asked. "Why in hell wouldn't they report an outage?"

I said, "For the same reason you don't know about some of their systems violations."

I think I know how search engines work, basically.

Google is censoring the "hits," in search results when certain search terms are applied.

Google is not the custodian of the data and, therefore cannot delete the data at URL destinations.

Therefore, it is not true that "Google thinks, therefore the data is," or is not.

Even if Google does a surgical disconnect within its sphere and scope of influence, the data rests right where it was.

    Am I missing anything?

I would suppose that, like the bots that capture deleted social media comments, someone could make money providing a searchable link database to the shit Google masks?

    Thanks.
