All they did was rename them, they still have the same actual machine type. The Z series e-server is an S/390.
The p680(7017) is an S80(7017) well really an S85, but you can have an S80 with the same configuration as the p680.
and so on...

They didn't distribute Sony's BIOS, they distrubuted their own bios. It just so happens that both Sony's bios and Connetix's are capabable of running Playstation video games. Reverse-engineering has been upheld as fair use for at least as long as we have had PC's
Wow, you'd think I was the only one who liked the movie, and liked Jar-jar as well.
I think it boils down to people who over analyze things are never going to enjoy stories for the stories themselves.
What, there are maybe 10 or so basic storylines? If you can't enjoy the details, too bad. Maybe we need to send you to remedial suspension of disbelief class.
<Insert topic here> shouldn't be on slashdot, I don't like <topic>, nor do I have any interest in <topic>. I am a nerd, and <topic> doesn't matter to me at all. I shouldn't have to log in to slashdot to filter out <topic> because after all I am a nerd and since <topic> doesn't matter to me, it is just filler. I mean you would think that this was Rob's site or something.
They are rebranding the AIX kernel (it's Aix L with a blue swoosh over it) It will be system call compatable with linux.(Read very little to no rewritting of code) I expect there will be hickups hence the "little"
Anyone else think the AIX/L logo is silly. For those who haven't seen it it is the letters aix in blue with a blue curve over the top leading towards the L.
now you want them to delete it. How can this not be a troll? Qualify how it has been an anoyance/harassment. The archive is a very useful resource for technical information.
If you "allow" the cop to search your car, you have no defense against any evidence they find.
ie:
Cop "Can I search your car?"
You "Sure"
Cop "Lookie at all this contraband!!!!"
You are busted
If it goes like this
Cop "Can I search your car?"
You "No, you may not"
Cop searches anyway
Cop "Lookie at all the contraband"
You can probably have the evidence thrown out unless the cop can come up with really good probably cause (You had the baggie visible on the dash)
The courts in at least one state have ruled them legal as they are "resonable" searches don't impose a long detainment and are for the overall good of the community. *Note this is their logic not mine.

Speaking from my infantry beta testing. Nick Fisher is an asshole. He would harass other fan sites of the game
Vermifax
That's what they have assholes like you for.
Vermifax
Give me a break.

Yah right....Sony already has units for the US ready right now. You think that they are gonna manufacture 500,000 units in te next 23 days.

He said that if they didn't sell through their entire allotment on the first day, they would be put to the end of the list for new machines.
Vermifax
Yes that's right, standard normal every day DVD specification, just on a smaller disc.
Vermifax
You have established your criteria for liking them. You have only yourself to blame for not liking movies.
Vermifax
Ahh yes, but predictability, is half the watchers fault and something within the watchers control

The manager of systems support was full of it. My computer does not become the property of my isp every time I dialup.
Vermifax
But the whole point was that by looking at the Xing key they generated about another 100 (non Xing keys) that would work.

You are reproducing the audio into the cdplayers antiskip memory.

And they are making AIX system call compatable with linux. I highly doubt the will open up any AIX kernel code.

montery didn't fail it was the project name. They rebranded it AIX/L so says I who just went to the IBM e-commerce conference.

You must not have checked into it recently. People even use *GASP* news clients instead of deja or remarq
Vermifax
Perfect Dark? ok so it doesn't require the rumble back but it does require the memory add on as does the new Zelda

As has been pointed out elsewhere, failure to identify yourself, while not a crime, does allow police to arrest you to find out who you are.
