    There's no touch screen support yet, so input is done through a USB keyboard and mouse for now, but the WiFi drivers are fine.

    A tablet that requires a keyboard and mouse? Why?

    I am convinced that Google will work make Chrome in the TV market. Quick boot time and lack of local apps all point to a non-traditional platform.

    Throw in Youtube and Hulu and you have why Comcast is buying NBC. Cable providers will quickly become irrelevant in a few years.

    I think you don't understand segregation of duties. It doesn't mean having a separate IT group, it means splitting duties between more than one person. For example, the person coding the change and the person implementing the change would be two separate people. Testing should also be separated out from the person who implemented the change.

    This does wonders for the midnight-cowboy coder who sticks in changes at 2 am and doesn't tell anyone or bother to test.

    In the case of a true emergency change, they can be done and documented after the fact (but should still be documented).

    Its not that hard and really has little to do with SOX and more to do with running a class operation.

    A lot of the stuff in wikipedia is obviously copied from other materials. I think they may have finished copying all of the easily available materials.

    Third, the deletionism has combined with a general attitude that is very bad unwelcoming to newcomers.

    You totally correct. I believe the number of people leaving is actually the result that most wiki editors wanted. It seems that every entry has at least one editors who does not want anyone messing with "his" entry.

    I long ago gave up any attempt to correct misspelled words or inconsistencies within the same entry.

    In Texas, nothing is sent, you are expected to contact the court to take care of the matter yourself.

    I think you misunderstand the purpose of a Board of Directors. Their job is not to oversee the company, that is management's job. Their job is to look out for the interests of the stockholder.

    I think IBM's entry into the multi-processor Unix machines with the RS/6000 was the death knell in Sequent and Pyramid. The both had their day in the Sun. Now Sun is gone too.

    I can remember a Byte article back in the day talking about Windows NT 4.0 having 32 and 64 bit versions.

    According to Wikipedia, Windows NT 4.0 did indeed have a 64 bit version:
