Dumb terminals... Serial terminal servers... HP-UX on PA-RISC... AS/400... SCO Unix... OpenVMS on Alpha... Funny story, the latter two systems died right in front of me when they refused to run backups. The SCO server was eventually virtualized (as all it did was hold an LDAP database), and the Alpha server simply went away... and the (financial) data never replaced or converted and backloaded into the AS/400.
I don't care very much for Randy Harper and her "harassment" escapades, but I can't wait for domain whois blockers to go away. If people are using your contact information to ring your phone off the hook, then complain to the police and phone companies. I've been a domain holder since around 2000, and my current domains since at least 2006. Never once have I been contacted by anyone malicious, except for that one registrar that likes to pretend they're the Canadian government... but I just throw their letters in the trash.
That's the funny thing, you don't need to TAS it to get it to work... Once you know what triggers it, it's just a matter of putting in the inputs and watching it explode.
As much as ZFS is stuck behind Oracle and CDDL, wouldn't it be nice to have a filesystem that is more robust than EXT, and a RAID system better than mdadm?
I'm tired of people owning domains with no way to contact them because of "whois guarding". Maybe ICANN can also go all the way and recall accreditation for registrars known for registering malware/typoscamming/etc domains.
Will the HTML5 player be as CPU intensive as the flash player, as in, completely unusable in full screen or high quality...?
Cry some more.
Because they don't give a shit. They never did... Oh, and Dice.
Typical PHB. Doesn't realize that mechanical drives have a finite life. SMH

... screw you. Give us back the old ATI.
Sincerely,
Everybody.
My ears are burning...
And yet some of us go from +3 to -1 so quickly, it's not funny. I haven't been able to mod in like 4 months.
Is it true that you (or Phil Fish) hacked yourself in 2014, and that's the reason why nobody has ever been found or charged?

Ahem. Sharp Twin Famicom.

They got me back in 2009 or 2010 for posting video game footage. Fuck those guys with a rusty rake.
How much of the bloatware is actually the manufacturer's fault though?
... if you pay to fly me to the UK and back, parts and labour.
Fuck you.
Sincerely,
Everyone in the world who isn't American
I see what you did there...
See title.
ahem.

A 68000 cpu and a OKI 6295 sound chip. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...
So yeah. Super Mario Brothers 3 is easy enough to QA so you can release a perfect game.
A perfect game, you say? QA, you say?
Sorry, but SMB3 was as broken as many games are today. We just didn't notice.

Java 8, which is the most vibrant and advanced Java release ever.
Yeah, if your view of "vibrant" is puking on a pile of shit...
I stopped reading at "1/3 the emissions of an electric car".
