No, I think it is a phone software feature. Sounds like a useful one too
TMob is not bad, esp compared with AT&T or Verison. I am in Canada, so you have no idea what bad phone providers look like, trust me. Can you imagine to get a "discounted" phone you have to sign on to a 3 year contract?
Fortunately up here we have Wind Mobile, who are smaller, but excellent value.
Why can I not do a black ( or white) list of callers on my cell phone? Even if they charged for it, this would be useful. Fricking ripoff cell phone providers.
OK, fair enough. We will form a committee to study this. Sorry, but it will take a while Also sorry, likely will have to wait until the next time some white-ass, redneck Republican is living there And, just in case you missed it: I am sorry.
Simply put, I am tired of cable subscribers being "mined" by cable cos. Their monopolies stink Forced bundling. Ridiculous prices for the few cable networks worth watching It just never ends.
So, now that we are subscribers to alternatives such as Netflix, and our money is being used for those services, I simply do not want the fruits of that money to go to the cable cos that took such callous advantage of us in the first place.
Netflix ( and Hulu, I hear, I am Canadian) demonstrate that it actually is possible to deliver good content,
with easy to use and unobtrusive user interfaces, at a fraction of the cost that the cable cos gouge us.
This is too wonderful for words to describe: Dell, Hurd, Icahn, Ballmer, Ellison, all in one place? Let them have a meeting and use a mini-nuke on the place.
Are we sure that we can not get Apple interested as well?
In one small step the whole USA tech environment could be improved beyond measure.
Opportunities like this should not be ignored! Maybe we could get the Chinese to "buy in", and have the dirty work executed by the Taliban or perhaps North Korea?
When I started using mine over a year ago, one of the firt things I liked was the ability to use screen touch instead of a mouse or touchpad. It just made so much more sense. Why wiggle a mouse.. over here.. instead of touching the object on the screen?
Mobile OSs are the new "desktops". It is the OS of the new personal computers. Tablets and smartphones. ARMs are now dominant, not Intel/ x86 Ubuntu is a Linux distro for the "normal" person, not the "propellerhead" Point is gaming is going to leave Windoze and move to Linux.
And it will be M$ own fault for the changes that made it happen.
Microsoft, Apple and a few others have spent a lot of money and a long time doing their best to ruin the image of Linux.
At least you are honest!
Seriously though, the right channel is through ones elected officials.
IF that consistently fails to be successful, then you may conclude that democracy is occurring.
Or perhaps one is simply in a radicalized minority.
It may be hard to tell..
In their minds, they were just "doing their jobs"
They are clearly unrepentant.
Does that justify taking this any further?
Of course not.
Vigilante expressions like this never promote good results.

On my Galaxy Nexus, running current Android 4.2.2, I do not see anything like that.
On my call log, if I press and hold, I can choose:
Remove from call log
Add to Contacts
Edit number before call.
Call #
So what you describe sounds to me like a Samsung specific feature in the Galaxy S2
Thanks, though, I appreciate your taking the time.

As a Canadian, whose country is ALSO part of North America:
Do you want us to come and burn down your white house again?
Simply put, I am tired of cable subscribers being "mined" by cable cos.

How is something on Netflix "free OTA" ??
I expect that this content would only be available on Netflix.
As a cable TV boycotter, all I can say is :
"All good as long as cable companies do not make a cent of it)

I smell a book deal..
Name the companies and the products.
Otherwise you risk being deemed a "whiny bitch"
or simply a pot-stirrer.
What good does this do without that information? Who can it help?
Troll?
TROLL?
Cisco is throwing around accusations about malware and they are one of the worst offenders!
For example, installing Java updates on a PC installs, by default teh ASK Toolbar and makes ASK the default web search engine.
You know, Java? That crap from Cisco?
http://www.java.com/en/download/faq/ask_toolbar.xml
Pure rubbish
You are such an obvious troll.
I had the TF-101, and recently got the TF700T-B1.
Neither did anything like you describe.
It is also useful for the keyboard , the extra ports, and so on.
Wash your hands!
This will also result in less disease transmission.
Double win!

How on earth would they expect this to pass any RF or safety tests?
There is a good reason to shut down these games:
People are killing other people over them!

So Intel are now so smug they feel they can dictate to the market?
So Fuck Intel.

Yup
This time is different though.
Android
iOS
ARM
Ubuntu
Things are changing.
This is what is called a "tipping point"
That is the gentle rustling noise that a snowball makes.
See, it is rolling down the hill.
Steam.. Games on Linux.. M$ forcing users to upgrade to Win8, users leaving Windows and using Linux for the gaming experience..
Uh-oh!
That snowball is getting bigger pretty fast.
