    This simply is not true....

    ... and took more effort than I wanted to expend.

    It took almost no effort for me to remove systemd from my Debian installation. I suspect the problem is not with the OS...

    Thanks for that link - very interesting. I'm curious if the author of that blog has found a suitable replacement. He didn't seem to like any of the alternatives.

    Should owners call their local Tesla dealer to handle the recall? Oh, that's right. There are NO dealers. Tesla need to dispatch technicians just like a printer break/fix ticket.

    From the article: "The plan now for owners of the roughly 90,000 vehicles on the road is to bring their cars into a Tesla service center , where a technician will check the car out for a few minutes" (emphasis added)

    So for you pulseaudio worked. But for many other people it didn't. The nice thing though is that it was very easy to not use pulseaudio. The problem with systemd is that, for some reason, so many other things have become dependent on it.

    Taking bets on when Motorola discontinues this and therefore stops supporting it. I fell for their previous version of this, the Motoactv, which is meant to be a sports device. But oops I made the mistake of sweating on it, so they won't honor their warranty.
