You're not the only one. Teslas are, at best, boring looking sedans but really they're just ugly (not to mention way over engineered in lots of ways... cough*stupid door handles*cough). All other electrics are pretty bad looking as well. I do disagree with you on one thing and that's the i3 is by far the worst looking one.
Hybrids are no better either. The Prius? That's terrible looking as well.
Yes, like virtually every car buyer out there (even the ones who refuse to admit it), looks are important in my car buying decision. When will they start making cool looking electric cars?
That's nothing new. Apple didn't invent the desktop computer, laptop, smart phone, tablet, portable music player, smart watch, all-on-one computer, etc. They're entire business is built on trying to improve upon ideas that somebody else came up with.
I don't care what anyone says about email/chat/video conferencing/etc... none of that replaces the productivity you get when a you can stand, face to face, with other workers in front of a whiteboard. I've had to work with lots of employess that always work from home and it's terrible. I have no problem with folks doing it on a semi-regular basis but 100% or nearly 100% working from home is bad for productivity.
Part of your job description, especially as an engineer/developer, is getting interrupted and assisting others. The folks that disagree are almost always young, inexperienced, and immature.
as long as you're still getting Internet from a cable company. They're not stupid. They'll make their money one way or the other. Fortunately, I live in a city that offers municipal-run, gigabit internet with no data caps. More cities need to do the same if they really want things fixed.
Such a simple concept that so many companies/people, like Apple and Samsung, just don't understand who true it is. Finger prints, your eye balls, etc are usernames, not passwords.
Sounds like someone needs to get better at context switching. If you can't produce quality code while constantly being interrupted, you're in the wrong business.
Getting interrupted is part of virtually any job. Answer their question and get back to work. The more it happens, the better you get at being able to quickly switch contexts and that's an important skill to acquire regardless of your profession. I personally hate it when I hear coworkers cry about being interrupted too much. Helping other people is part of your job description. Nobody gets to work inside a bubble all day long without getting interrupted and the last guy I worked with who tried (by always working at home) caused so many problems where I work (because he was never around to answer any questions about his idiotic architectural and programming decisions).
However, depending on the work environment, wearing headphones will sometimes ward off would-be interrupters. It, and listening to music, can also help get you quickly back on track afterwords.
Sure, they don't completely eliminate talking and other noises but they're good enough. If they're not, you're being too picky and aren't as high performant as you think you are.
People are referring to big-budget action and sci-fi movies. Those are mostly just remakes/sequels/prequels/etc. To your point though, yeah, there are plenty of original movies out there in general.
I'm sure they watch stuff on youtube and other sites. I swear commercials are almost as bad now than when I was a kid watching live TV. With live TV, you have commercials every 10 minutes or so. With youtube and the like, it seems like I'm forced to watch a commercial with almost every single video and some I can't skip.
The world of no commercials on the internet is dying. We're not far from the day where commercials will be back in full force regardless of the service you're using to watch your media.
The problem with tabs is you pretty much have to format your code to use a certain tab width, else things won't always line up correctly when using a different sized width. I see this all the time with code that uses hard tabs. Thus, you might as well just use spaces.
Unless you're a novice programmer, the coding style the author chose shouldn't affect your ability to read the code and modify it. Such things don't matter.
Exactly. I don't need numbers, mixed cased letters, or special characters to make a password that's orders of magnitude stronger than what the password strength meter would normally think is very strong.
Why not both? I'll probably buy this and I'd probably buy an SNES version as well. I wouldn't be surprised at all if we see an SNES and maybe even an N64 version if this thing sells well, which I'm sure it will especially during the holidays.
Of course it's emulation. They're probably just running something similar to the Wii (U) virtual console. I wouldn't worry about "shut ass emulation" though. The Wii (U) Virtual Console is very good emulation.
"because cyclists are feeling safer on the roads"... they shouldn't or else they're just fooling themselves. In the US in general, people driving cars/trucks don't like cyclists.
No way. Hybrids are a hack. There's no point in having an electric engine if you still have a gas engine you need to maintain.

Source Depot, which is a custom version of Perforce. Some other teams at least eventually started using Team Foundation Server, howerver.

LOL. Let's see some data to back that up.

for servers at least. Sorry, but I'll stick with Windows and OSX for desktop usage for wider software support and both are good enough these days.

It shouldn't take more than a high school education to talk about and understand climate change.

Exactly. I'd never use a fingerprint as a password.
If the answer is no then the solution is simple... don't buy John Deere tractors. If they all do it, then the government needs to step in.

Such a license would never hold up in court anyway. There has already been cases where these licenses were ruled not legally binding.

Just means us law-abiding citizens get paid more.
Instead of being an "editor", just "quit" and go outside more. Problem solved.
