You made the conscious decision to live in one of the most expensive areas of the country and to have 3 children. You figure it out (hint: move to a cheaper area and, in your next life, don't have kids you can't afford to raise).
I've been a cord cutter for so long (about 8 years now) that the idea of subscribing to traditional cable/satellite TV seems so archaic and such a massive waste of money to me now. It always feels weird to me when I go to someone's house and we watch TV the old fashioned way. To me, cable/satellite is the TV equivalent of a flip phone.
You mean to tell me Amazon follows the same business practices of virtually every single retail business when having big "sales"!? Say it ain't so, lol.
A RasPi is a terrible solution for anyone with at least halfway decent internet speeds, let alone those of us who need 1Gb/S routing. There are much better single-board computer solutions if that's what you're after.
pfSense was my answer as well except I used modern, efficient hardware that doesn't consume much more power than a typical router at idle. The main reason for switching was so I had a router capable of 1Gb/S throughput since I was getting 1Gb/S internet.
This is the number one reason I force quite an apps. A bunch of location-using apps I use must be force-quit in order for them to stop using my location.
I take that back. There's one thing I'd never tell my boss/CEO/etc and that's how easy my job is and how I'm always shocked at how much money they're willing to throw at me to do it.
Seriously. I can't think of a single thing in our code base, our practices, etc that I wouldn't happily tell my CEO if he came over and asked me. He's an engineer after all. I can easily defend every line of code I write, every library/framework I pick, etc to anyone who asks. What kind of shady practices are all the rest of you up to anyway?
Some of you are really full of yourselves. Developers aren't kings/queens. They don't run the company nor are they in charge of anything. We are the construction workers of the white collar world and can be easily replaced. We simply take requirements handed down to us and implement them... exactly what a construction worker does when building a house. Get over yourselves.
Sure, lots of us used MPC-HC for years and it was always, IMO, one of the best options for a Windows based media server but times have changed. Most folks have moved onto all-in-one packages like Plex or simple streaming devices like Apple TVs and Rokus. These days I use Plex and Rokus. I don't miss the days of having a full-blown Windows PC under my TV, fiddling with CODECs, etc.
By far the biggest reason I never pay for things with cash is so I can build up points, and thus get cash back, with my credit card. I even pay all my bills with my credit card (the ones that don't charge a fee for doing so). I then pay off the card every month. Note that this strategy only works if you have the discipline to pay off the card every month and not carry a balance.
The other reasons I don't carry cash is because (i) I'm too lazy to go to the ATM all the time and (ii) I'm a minimalist when it comes to my wallet and what I carry.
I generally only carry a small amount of cash to cover things at places that don't take credit cards, pay the occasional tip, etc.
Pressurized planes have "air cycle machines", commonly referred to as "packs" in the industry, which take in both ram air from the outside and "bleed air" from the engines, mix/compress/etc to both pressurize the cabin and maintain the desired temperature (there is no refrigerant like you'd find in your home or car's a/c). An outflow valve is used to regulate the cabin pressure. See wikipedia if you really want a good explanation of how they work.
Unpressurized planes have oxygen tanks and the pilots wear masks.
It just causes me to not pay attention. If you're not going to get anything out of the meeting or contribute in anyway, then either decline the invite or blow it off. Virtually every time I'm in some sort of meeting and someone has a laptop open, they're either wasting time or doing work that has nothing to do with the meeting. It's the same in school except worse because you're younger, more immature, and more likely to waste time and not pay attention.
I'm playing video games (and doing lots of other things in my spare time) because I'm not stupid enough to waste away my life working, not the other way around.
and I used to be an airline pilot. I want the cheapest fare possible and have no problem whatsoever with standing for the entire flight. As for the safety aspect, that's easily solved with a backrest that you can strap yourself into. In fact, I think standing plus leaning up against a back rest is more comfortable than those crappy seats they fill the planes with now.
Everybody I know who has an electric car (I live in a part in a part of the U.S. where these things are very popular) virtually never waits for a charge. They're always either charging at home or while at work and that, by far, covers most of the average person's charging needs. I get what you're saying but it's really not an issue for most people. Yes, there are some that really do make long trips more than a couple times a year and, for them, we'll still have ICE cars for a long time.
As to your "I can't take long drives..." comment, just talk to any one of the numerous Tesla owners that do exactly that in their cars today.
Why would I want to drive what is essentially a giant hack? One of the big reasons to own an electric car is so you don't have to maintain a gas engine. With hybrids, you now have 2 engines to worry about. In other words, the chances of something breaking increases. Not only that, the mileage you get with a hybrid is only about 20% better than a regular car that gets good mileage.
The days of hybrids are numbered.
Until he can get a single piece of legislation passed through congress, he hasn't done anything. Any president can come up with and sign an executive order; that's the easy part of the job.
He's not uniting anyone. It's mostly just the people on the left that are still in favor of fighting climate change and trying to do something about it. The folks that voted for Trump are waiting for all those coal jobs to come back.
I'd rather my car get totaled while I live to tell the tale. Those old tanks don't do you any good if you die from all that trauma your body experiences because your car doesn't act like a shock absorber.
I'm not just talking about Siri but its competitors as well. I haven't used Siri since it was first released and even then it would only be to schedule reminders when I was driving. I also don't know anyone who uses these assistants either (outside of asking it stupid crap when they're drunk).
In short, does anyone really care?

That attitude's not good enough. It's possible for children to either not respond to the vaccine or not be able to get it due to other conditions.

Some people I know do not care and I and some people I know think the AirPods are the most beloved bluetooth headset ever sold.
FTFY. I guarantee there are lots of people who disagree with you.

The 90 days are long gone. Whatever he wanted to address during that period should have already been addressed.

Of course she will get hired again as a CEO. Once you're in the ultra-exclusive CEO club, you're in and set for life.
