How about making it like ham radio: you get a license, mark your drone with your number. You get in the way, get government knows who to bring the remains back to.
Come on, a police department taking something that could cost them millions, plus bad media and turning into something good? Heads will have to roll for this decision.
There are plenty of times this happens with normal cars. There was one where the car accelerated on it's own when going off of a freeway, killing 1 person. The driver was sent to jail.. until several other people had this same issue. The car manufacture knew about this, didn't say anything, and issued a recall.
Everything that can happen with an autocar has happened already, thing only otherthing would be programming errors.
Can the same logic be used for law enforcement agencies? Didn't NSA/FBI/CIA/etc know about some of the terrorists from 9/11? They didn't do anything and no one was held responsible. They have plenty of tools available and can't use them correctly.
If the court wants them to remove the negative reviews, I don't have an issue with this. They should also remove every review as well. You don't get to pick and choose reviews, you should get all or none.
Isn't this the same industry that is keeping us safe by installing seat belts and air bags. Wasn't there just a major recall for them? If they have issues keeping our physical bodies safe, how safe is your data?
Don't worry, it's only California.
Don't say gimmick, let's say borrowed.

I drive 45 minutes to work, one way. I drive through the country over the state border. No this would not change how I get to work.
Does NYC have data to show that most accidents involving left turns are due to Google maps and not due to some other program/device?
Didn't you see NCIS? They proved you could

I laminate over the lack of boys in clothes design and modeling. I assume that congress will address this soon.
What about my 365 windows I am trying to sell? Will I not be able to do that?
And locked doors make it harder for police to enter your house. Ban all locks!!!
Yea, Blackberry needs to make BBM available for all devices.... wait, who would want that?
I have a 45 minute drive, interstate 90% of the way. I would love to by the driver less car.
What? they didn't want to hire the same people who built the Obamacare site? I'm shocked!
Lets make it easy, here in the US. Do you want the same people who setup Obamacare and all the issues it had and has, running your internet?
If you don't pinky swear, I don't trust you.
