Information is in the hands of the people.... lets sue who is giving out the information! Lets make it illegal to give out the information! Lets make it illigal to catalogue the information!
If this is really a problem, there is a simple fix: Put a brick wall in the middle of the road to make it a no through road from both ends. Then only residents visiting residential areas will care.
I bet he won't like that, because it will disadvantage him the same amount as he wants to disadvantage others.
He lives near a major road and highway intersection, and his street cuts from one to the other allowing to avoid a large interchange and saving miles.
But just that, but our regulatory society.
Most of the terms and conditions are to protect themselves from government.
This is why for example the terms and conditions for itunes says you can't use iTunes to commit thermonuclear war or terrorism.
Both your answers are absolutely stupid.
If a robot does a task cheaper than a human, then the human labor can be put onto another value adding task. The same amount of resources as before can now produce more overall sands low for more consumption overall.
If you only look at the robot and the one work who is fired, you completely miss the rest of the unseen economic effects. The robots cost will be tired to the resources and labor to make it. The cheaper food will allow people to consume in other areas of the economy. There would be no net loss of jobs overall.
Technology has been replacing factory workers for eons. We don't have massive unemployment and a short supply of jobs (the current economic problems are more from government meddling, not because people are suddenly worthless).
Sorry but people who are against automation belong in medieval times with those against the printing press, the weaving loom, the steam engine etc. They are completely economically ignorant.
If robots ran fast food joints, it would be a major boom to the economy. Food would end up substantially cheaper, and living standards would improve as there will be more labor for other value add activities.
People keep being scared of technology, but for 200 years technology has obliterated jobs and made us richer every step of the way.
Depends entirely on how that one character is hidden. If crackers seen a password "HorseXStaple" they will add "Horse[a-zA-Z] Staple" to their list of passwords. As the words are recognised as exacts, while the middle bit is recognised as a miss fit single character.
Did any one cheek the paper to see if they normalised for number if accounts, or even better, only asked for passwords of important primary accounts like banks?
If not, another completely stupid and flawed servey passed off as research.
Iphone still hasn't peaked. The current phones are out selling the previous ones and see the best selling consumer devices in the world. Apple could coast for another decade yet, and will continue to spit out random crap like the Apple watch trying to come up with something. History says companies very rarely do a second major trick.
I think the wtf point is that there is very clearly enough land to just put these things not on actual roads. Placing them on the road seems to be a political based decision. All the trials have shown that it's extremely expensive and has poor efficiency. Yet they are doing it anyway because.... They want to burn money.
Unlike most western countries, at least they understand that these non productive jobs are part of the problem. They need to cut these jobs and cut the taxes used top pay for them. This will allow for extra demand and new jobs in productive fields that service that demand.
NZ dis the same thing long ago, with gigantic cuts. Make work jobs like park rangers were cut from 20,000 to literally single digit numbers. They have had a massive economic turn around.
Actually the product will win even against that.
From what i have seen its a word press like system. For example pictures on the site and adds would both have random strings as url's. So knowing what is and isn't content becomes next to impossible - yippy would have to have some smart algorithm to detect add by image processing.
But yeah its all an arms race. Ad block should consider better croud sourcing. Allow people to tag ads, which is done at a visual level, not a url level.
The website could simply make up fake hits. Generate random data and pass it on and get paid for it.
The reason ads are on their own server is that the hoster of the web page can't trick the ad company.
The issue is that the advertiser has no way to prove the hits are legitimate, the hoster can simply request ads even if they don't actually result in an impression.
The ad companies have a new product which is basically they run your website instead of you, allowing the ads to come from the same domain as regular content, effectively making ad block ineffective, as it won't be able to distinguish between content and ads. They have no interest at all in letting ad block learn about this product.
Ad block only go to the event to essentially extort money anyway, saying they will allow non intrusive ads, in reality you just pay them money and you get on their white list.
Prime numbers are very useful for puesdo random number generators, In this case the merssene twister.
The is a huge benefit in making good rng from prime, because it can be made with an incredible simply algorithm that can run fast etc.
It would be interesting to know which of the two have pocketed all the money. I have done AVR boards nearly identical to arduino over the last decade+, and in 10k volume a avr board has about $1.20 in parts, a few dollars to assemble and individually package. Yet they were able to sell them for $30!! And people think Apple has big margins....
The avr Chips in volume are at least a hundred times cheaper than raspberry pi Chips. Arduino has made a fortune (i think SRL?). By tying the scoring language to the arduno name, they can sell boards that should be a few bucks for $30+.
You can make a good living selling shield boards on kick starter for $20 a pop that are produced for a few bucks.
It is truly bizarre to new that in USA, the capitalist centre of the world, so many people scream for special rights to *renters* as if they are owners....
Why does the government interfere with rent control? Every economist will tell you that it's just insane and less to these very situation.
If the people need welfare, the government should supply public housing directly.
Trying to make excuses for Nazi style registration.
Where is bicycle registration? rc car rego?
Can't wait for the FAA to show up at little bobbys house and confiscate his unregistered arial device.
You are mixing up relative and absolute accuracy. The 10m error is the same magnitude and direction for all points if the same satellites and general atmospheric conditions remained fairly constant.
gps can tell it's relative movement much more accurately through the tiny change in signal reception times, what it can't do is fully model or known the exact time of flight for each signal (which is required for your absolute position on the globe).
Yeah I'm sick of this general news crap. My guess is that they are "taking a stand" on an "important issue" etc etc. It's like how ars is always passing puff pieces on climate change.
Just goes to allow how pathetic government are... $18 million to watch a building for a few years... 6 million per year, that's probably close to twenty officers at any one time.... Rediculous.
What happened is simply that conservative government isn't giving big budget increases, so they have had to actual cut some of the stupid fat.

How dare they hire people based on race rather than skills and ability, that is the government's job, not theirs!
27Mw is no small prototype, but there seems to be nothing about it anywhere.

Because Linus won't use gpl 3, and stallmens dieing dream is for everything to be under the thumb of gpl3
I use Ubuntu, i just don't use unity. Run the latest Ubuntu and install xfce4. None of the ui crap, just lightning fat simple function desktop.

Yes the iPhone and software are perfect and not a contributing factor, you are just pocketing it wrong.
