  1. Not a bad idea on Orbiting 'Rest Stops' Could Repair Crumbling Satellites · · Score: 2

This isn't a bad idea. Especially that the normal satellite lifespan is only about 15 yrs.

  2. Why can't both the real moon landing and the fake both be true? The US would be able to save face if the real moon landing had issues. Propaganda.

  3. Found the response to my question in this: http://www.scienceforums.net/t...

  4. The question I have is; will a Nuke work in space? We have atmosphere and a reaction which takes place here on earth but I'm curious as to how it will be possible to nuke something in a vacuum of space.

  5. Re:Definitions, Definitions on Ireland Votes Yes To Same-Sex Marriage · · Score: 1

Last I checked, two male connectors do not connect nor two female connectors. If someone is using their body parts for something other than nature intended it's a perversion. You wouldn't use a hammer to buffer a car, that too is a perversion. When talking about the state and legality, people have to pay the state for the marriage license. This is just another tax. So I really don't care if those who are homosexual want to be legally married if they want to pay the tax like everyone else in America.

  6. Definitions, Definitions on Ireland Votes Yes To Same-Sex Marriage · · Score: 1

Marriage is between a man and a woman. Marriage is between two individuals. Marriage is for those traditionalists. Marriage is so "old schools". What is Marriage? We just have sex here and there but no commitment anywhere.

  7. 1 billion in Moldova? on 28-Year-Old Businessman Accused of Stealing $1 Billion From Moldova · · Score: 1

I've been to Moldova and can't believe there exists a Billion anywhere in that country. However a lot of human trafficking does happen through there.

  8. Hit Up by Recruiters on Want 30 Job Offers a Month? It's Not As Great As You Think · · Score: 1

I keep getting hit up by IT Recruiting agencies. Almost got screwed over by one of these agencies after I looked over the contract. I get hit up about 10 emails a day by various automated job systems.

  9. IPv6 too long on Why the Journey To IPv6 Is Still the Road Less Traveled · · Score: 1

I personally believe that IPv6 is just too many numbers for most people to input and remember when something is needed to be done quickly. If they could only make an alternate version slightly shorter. I do like the concept of the double colon (xx::xx) for a shortcut.

  10. Electric Cars on Can Civilization Reboot Without Fossil Fuels? · · Score: 1

Most people don't realize this but the earliest electric car was in 1828. Problem is the greed of oil companies which has kept electricity off the roads because once cars become electric the oil companies loose a form of control over people. Tides have been changing recently, however if electricity were to have grown instead of oil I think we would be living in a very different world.

  11. accreditation needs to change on The End of College? Not So Fast · · Score: 1

The accreditation I believe is what is holding back colleges and universities from evolving to a more modern approach to education. Like some people commented on here, it would be better to learn what you need when you need it over just mindlessly going to school in hopes you will use what you've learned. Another aspect I keep seeing is in the IT world, employers are asking for experience. Sadly college provides out of date education and very little experience in the IT world. What I mean here, is that the classes at the beginning of a 4-year degree are out of date when the student graduates. So the question becomes; how does colleges help the students gain experience? Internships are still hard to find especially in specific areas.

  12. Top 1 % on Poverty May Affect the Growth of Children's Brains · · Score: 2

So the Top 1% needs to give the bottom 99% all their money. Problem solved.

  14. Yes religions opens wrong kinds of doors. Adolf Hitler was apposed to religion and killed about 11 Million people in the process. Then you had the SS doing their weird cult like practices.
