    Yes, I do. Corporations cannot pass laws, a powerful government can. A smaller government without the authority to make these laws cannot make these laws.

    No, I'm saying that if the biggest prerequisite to being a Nazi is respecting the right to free speech for all political groups, then I guess I'm a big fat Nazi. The term has grown stale and meaningless like the boy crying wolf until nobody believes him. Besides, I doubt there are any real Nazis left considering the NSDAP died out long ago and I don't think they are accepting applications anymore. I think the term people are looking for here is National Socialist.
    You might have a point though, I'm perfectly fine with murdering those who would use violence to take away my own rights. Who isn't?

    That is genius, I had to watch it twice. What an amazing example of ingenuity and comfort, I wonder what the fuel mileage is. Hell, I'd love to see a modern version with improvements in efficiency.
    And 1,000 ft/lbs of torque. Drag race WHEN? Imagine the look on some teenage kid's face as he's trying to race this monster from a stoplight in his 90s Honda with a fartcan exhaust.

    Does everyone else abuse their phones so badly that it requires annual replacement?

    It seems like it, but I have no idea how they manage to do it. I've known friends who have bought the newest/fastest phone on the market and shattered the screen within a day.
    I'm still on an old nexus 5 I got on launch and a simple case along with the original screen protector I put on.
    No cracks, no dents, no scratches and I've hucked this motherfucker at rocks and walls (Bees need to get out of my face) and it just keeps on taking it.
    I don't get it.

    Companies like to strong arm small communities as presented in the article you linked to... that's not the government doing that..

    I've been three times and refuse to return due to their creepy loss prevention. Every time I went I had them hovering over me, around me, following me or trying to "secretly" watch me from across the isle, speaking into their walkie talkies. Not so secret when I can hear you saying "Yeah, I'm watching him".
    Nope, sorry, fuck off, I'll order it off amazon for less money.

    Damn straight. I've already been labeled a "free speech nazi" and have had people try to dox me on there (Good thing I paid attention in school and never use any identifiable information, back when that was taught).

    If advocating for free speech and railing against censorship of any political opinion or ideology makes me a Nazi, sign me up for the SS.

    Look into old DLP televisions. I got a 70 inch for $150, fixed the alignment and focus and it's been great. And you can actually take it apart and fix it if something goes wrong.

    Same here, I change it up every year or so. I've collected about 12 different Gmail accounts along the way. The only pain in the ass is finding an old website I used to visit and having to go through all of them to find the password change request email.

    Freespace 2 + open source installer. Even supports yelling at your ai teammates through the microphone to tell them to cover your ass or protect/attack target and whatnot.

  15. I got interested in it a few years ago looking for a way to network some 'custom' stuff I was making for my car. i2c and SPI was having more than a few issues under the hood.
    I was bored, it was a fun project. Ended up getting really interested in it, very cool way of communication and I love how message priority works. Last thing I made was a small board that plugged into where the factory ($500) CD changer would go to enable a wired or bluetooth connection to a phone, retaining all the steering wheel button functionality and adding hands free calling. Totally worth the effort to see it all work in the end.

    This is nothing new, anyone who has developed a CAN device before knows this, no "shocking new research" needed. It was never designed to be secure, it was designed to be extremely resistant to noisy environments, and does a damn good job at it.
    tl;dr if you are a political target, get an older car without an electric throttle body and electric power steering bullshit.

    Couldn't agree more. It was obvious if you were watching what went down live, it was perfectly peaceful until the police started herding the protesters into the violent counter-protesters.
    It was nice to see Seattle handle it well, even with the counter protesters calling for violence and chanting "HOW DO YOU SPELL NAZI? SPD!" (Seattle Police Department).
    Not to mention one group had the proper permits to be there, and fought in court to get them.
    It's only going to get more violent from here on out though. As you said, same shit happened in Berkley. It's only a matter of time until the protesters start showing up armed and waiting to be attacked, since the police won't do shit to protect them.

    Spoke a little too soon. He's been fired, dox'd and blacklisted along with threats against his personal safety.
    I've yet to see anyone upset by this document discuss it in a calm and reasonable way, mainly useless gender studies graduates getting angry on twitter and refusing to discuss it, because "discussing it validates it" and "muh bigots". The irony of that last one is pretty sad.
    Unless you completely ignore all forms of social media, this guy is getting completely shit on with very little "healthy" debate.
    The man has a PhD in Biology from Harvard for fucks sake, and he's called the ignorant one for stating scientific facts.

    I didnt mean to imply anything about woman blaming things on their birth control, far from it. Every time a girlfriend of mine has started taking it, I notice a difference in mood, attitude and personality. Not a huge difference usually, but it's there, even though they insisted they felt exactly the same.

    All you seem to be able to do is spew insults that don't even apply in the current situation. The right, along with classical liberals, are asking for equal treatment when it comes to censorship of extreme views, while the "left" (By which I mean newage cancerous "progressives") wants special treatment (Safe spaces, banning of "hate speech", consequences for hurt feelings, exemptions to censorship of extremist views). Like the AC said, people are growing tired of the perpetual professional victimhood that we see today (You could call it the oppression Olympics).

    This part of what he said seems to apply to you perfectly:
