This is the biggest annoyance for me. It took a few seconds before, now it takes anywhere from 20 to 30 seconds for it to process. Might be because I'm in a small town in the US, I've heard the equivalent over in the UK is just as fast.
The absolute asshurt in this article is hilarious. Actual questions getting modded as troll, crying and screaming and "lol kill urself!" getting modded to +5.
Crying and screaming to not give him attention, yet that is exactly what you're doing by crying and screaming about it.
Martin isn't buying it, neither is Notch. Both of them were just trolling.
Nobody really knows what is going on. Hiroshamoot isn't really explaining, and even when he does post his English is lacking, at best. He refuses to take donations as well.
Either way, I don't see any reason to be worried. I doubt it will shut down, and even if it does it won't change anything (Though it has died a few times in the past).
Whenever a popular website shuts down, something rises to take its place. &TotSE died from it because the community was already dwindling, but 4chan is still fuckhuge. The bigger issue is increased shitposting and lack of janitors.
Donations, mostly. It has shut down a few times in the past due to using all the goddamn bandwidth. They refuse to accept donations now though. Not really worrying though, something will just pop up to take its place, like every other time a popular website has closed.
A few years from now, people are going to look back at this as The Great Splintering. The Exodus lead to the great 4-8 split, and when both of them die, it's just going to become hundreds of small minor chans struggling to become.
Great, &TOTSE all over again.
(Remember, green lantern is like a dick without wings)
Lets hope 4chan stays afloat, because otherwise 4chan posters will be dispersed throughout other sites and communities. Like a cyst bursting into bloodstream.

Anybody know the mean time between failure for these plugs (The micro ones)?
I've only had a headphone jack fail once, due to some pocket lint getting in the hole, which I was able to remove.
I've gone through a number of cords and a few devices due to failure of the cord, failure of the female plug, or the female plug becoming so fatigued the solder broke attaching it to the PCB.
The 3.5mm jack is pretty solid when it comes to abuse. I've accidentally broken off USB connectors several times.
Damn. I've been hoping for a somewhat primitive voice recognition/synth that could run on microcontrollers or similar. Limited responses and very primitive, sure, but it would be fun to integrate into some of my projects.
Though I'm sure he is talking about PCs exclusively, you're right. I think ARM is absolutely dominating in the microcontroller department.
I see very little reason to go back to 8-bit AVRs.
You can't be telling me I'm the only one that types in fake stuff like "Niggajones69@gmail.com", right?
Do you have overscan issues when using a TV with HDMI?
All the ones I have used, I have to manually input a close-to-but-not-quite standard resolution. Right now I'm at 1862x1036.
Hello macs4all, if that is indeed your real name.

You're telling me popular_music.mp3.exe isn't legit!?
There used to be a few services like this that would advertise on television, and had an online quote generator.
This was back when the original i7 processors were new, so I gave them my build to see how much they would offer.
For a new i7 920, 16gb ram, 500gb HDD and whatever the higher-end video cards were at the time, they offered $200.

Everyone's too busy being butthurt. I can try to ask him those questions directly if you'd like.

I guess I'm on double secret probation now.

That was pretty amusing, also an accurate picture of what /qa/ looks like: autists spamming for /pol/ to be deleted.

8ch also doesn't get anywhere close to 27,700,000 unique visitors a month.
It's never a bad time to shill for your political sports team, apparently.
I think I'm the only one that likes this meme.

I think God's just fucking with us now.
Well, there's something we agree on.
I'm starting to question my own reality now.
Did I actually die a few years ago?
Is this some twisted, abstract kind of hell?
Or are these two really the best we could come up with?
I keep thinking "This is the stupid shit I've ever seen, it can't get worse", then something else comes along that shatters that notion.
Take this picture taken in a college sociology class, for example:

(I have several pictures of this, if anyone is interested)

Please, wake me up. I want to go back to the good old days of photoshopping monkey faces onto Bush.

I had no idea, neat channel, thanks. Must be a bit of an issue if he adds that into the intro.
