My Samsung S5 has 3 battery options. Performance, Battery saver and extreme battery saver. It also has several nice indicators of how battery is being used, whats using it, and how long it should be able to last. I don't know if there is an indication if my battery is too degraded, but it is easily replaceable if necessary.

Why can't you do that with Twitter?

I thought "liking" their status update of "RIP" was enough?

That would be correct. Coffee does not seem to be the culprit, it is drinking hot liquid. Drinking scalding hot water would give the same increased risk of esophageal cancer. I really couldn't fathom why anyone would drink hot water.
Coffee doesn't kill people, hot water kills people! Keep our coffee free!

  6. While looking for our last apartment, we noticed that any place that included "luxury" in the actual name of the complex was anything but that.
When we finally did pick a place, we paid $50 a month extra for the appliance "upgrade". When we moved in, we found cheap POS appliances, so we complained. Found out that they considered new POS appliances as upgrades over the 20 year old POS appliances that many other units had.

  7. They used to support Nexus phones, so I bought the 6 thinking I could run Ubuntu on it. Sadly, that's where they stopped supporting the Nexus line. I'm sure the amount of people running this would be higher if they would support anything other than their own models of phones.

Nope, nothing to see here. Do not run as root user. Anyone stupid enough to run as root user is going to hose their system by typing a wrong command sooner or later anyways. This article will not help.

I have some bad news for you, you will never get your money back. The best you can hope for is to live long enough to get a good portion of it back. You would have been better off sticking your money in the freezer for 46 years (16 to 62). If I could opt out now, I would still come out ahead if I could just keep my money for the next 20, giving up on the last 26 years of paying into the worthless POS that Social Security is.

Absolutely agree! Having to pay a price for something makes people appreciate the value of something much more. Case in point: I gave my mom a free (To her, $1500 to me) laptop. It developed an issue awhile later, so she wrapped it in a scarf and fedex'd it to me. The package rattled quite badly when I got it, so I made her buy the replacement.

Partway through, the guy looses concentration and the gun slips down. Bartender picks it up and hands it back to the guy. "Dont want anyone to come in and catch me doing this and think I'm gay!!"
