I use it as my primary access method. I use both of the two POP e-mail address. I get rock solid 56k connections, no busy crap, no droped calls. And I connect to Level3.net
It used to be depend on the quality of the WAVE table. But how many games use MIDI now? Used to be all of them and without a good WAVE table it sounded like hell. But now with MP3/OGG or on CD audio, who needs MIDI other than musicians or sound studios.
I have yet to see onboard audio with a good wavetable or doughterboard support.

Now how about a solution for the muffler that sounds like a box of pissed off bees? I meen REALY I do not care WHAT you put on that damn inline FOUR it will NOT sound like a HEMI!

So if your life depends on the line working, stick with a tradiotional land line???
I was damned near burned out of home just because I did not have a passively powered phone(Main breaker blew when centeral air/heater fused its main buss). I would hate to have to rely on a powered up PC and working net connection for my life.
Assumming you do not need an untra fast PING you can allways go for DirectWay.... I am not sure if it is suitable for Voice over IP.. But it is a lot better than a 28.8 dialup.

On hydrolic Power Steering if the pump dies or bleeds out you just have to apply more force to steer... Arn't you just plain FUCKED up a stread without a paddle if the fuse blows in a steer by wire system?
Now there is an underhanded method Trillian connot fight... Use special new encryption and claim DMCA protction.... And AOL is enough of a bunch of bastards to do just that.
Do you people not realize that RFID tags that are not self powered can only be read a few INCHES away.
Pet RFID, Vert has to hold reader next to pets skin.
SpeedPass, Only works an INCH away. (And gets fussy with GM keys with resister in them when they are next to the SpeedPass) I think the SpeedPass car tag has to be directly under the readers and it works to about 6 feet but it is self powered.
