Just curious, why would you only want a monochrome. Seems to me if there was a choice between color and monochrome most people would choose color. Not much of a demand for B&W TVs now a days
First of all this isn't in the US so the our military budget has nothing to do with this. Here are some other ideas though. We could get rid of the federally funded schools privatize all schools since right now there doing a pretty shitty job. How about quit giving food stamps to illegal immigrants.
A lot of people are probably going to accuse me of being paranoid here but... I'm sure the government would like nothing more than a big university like MIT to say carnivore is okay. It's part of a propaganda war. Those who are then less educated or lazy will just think the government isn't spying on me, the folks at MIT even said so, and the as a whole Americans give up another bit of privacy. If the government was truly interested in letting the American people know carnivore was about they would open source it. What do they have to loose? There not going to sell the code to carnivore or are they. They want to assure the American public their privacy isn't being violated, don't they? If carnivore is truly what they say it is, let everyone look, not just the "elite" at a university.
A US postal service employee was involved in a shooting rampage today, reports quote him as saying "These net appliances are just to damn big to put in every mailbox", referring to AOL new mass marketing program where 500billon of the devices have been mailed out to everyone in the states.
Has anybody taken a look at the picture of this guy, it reminds me a lot of the slashdot icon for the MS Borg, only this guy is for real. Check him out
According to the guy I sit next to at work(Who is more into Star Wars than any healthy person should be) They are going to bring out all Star Wars epsiods at one.
Imagine, if you will, Voice recognition software that transcribes words into your own handwriting! That's a bad idea, I can hardly read my own hand writing. How about it transcribes to my wife hand writing instead?
I personally would never use an ISP like AOL or MSN, but I know a lot of people who do. These people know that there are better service out there, but they don't care. They use AOL because it's simple, or because they like the "You got mail" guy. For Linux to break into the mainstream desktop market we will have to see big ISP provide their software for Linux.
Al Gore brought us the internet, he must be made to pay, I think the RIAA should sue him too after all what network does napster use. If Mr. Gore isn't responsible for this then I don't know who would be.
Man I live in the midwest, I will be getting my 2 year degree in a month and I've had three job offers so far. I guess worst case scenario move to the midwest; nope I'd rather be unemployed Blue
Going to highschool was hell for me, I was a geek, but you know it all paid off when I heard Johnny football hero was a drunk who was living out of a Pick-up truck, Captin of the wrestlting team dilvered my pizza the other night, ane one of the bitch cheerleaders was in the paper for shoplifting from K-mart. Ahh life sure is good now

right, but no one writes it like that
Do a search for C# and get pages on C++ and C, google used to have this problem. Not a huge deal, just being picky

Is it just me or does the idea of this remind anyone else of the Microsoft Office assistant.
