So a health care indrustry should spend millions of dollars in new software, training, and hardware to switch to a package that will let employee's use a $1k unit to gain access instead of a $2k unit? do you also bitch about the cost of your health care? i bet you do.
i don't care what pda or system you buy. if you need to see anything more then one or two lines a pda's display isn't going to cut it. the oqo is not cut out for doing large sums of heavy computation. i suggest you buy one and try it out before you knock it.
doctor's refuse to use tablet laptops because of their size, and those who use them drop them. doctor's refuse to use pda's because they can't read anything useful on them. doctor's bring in the milk money.
you're out in the field several buildings from your desk, how do you look up the remedy ticket to make sure you're in the right room when your shop has gone paperless? right now you're stuck finding a desktop or opening up a clunky laptop. you can't use a palm sized device because the screen size/resolution can't handle displaying something like a remedy ticket. there are a zillion and one more situations like this.
Cannon has as well. I prefer to replace the print head everytime since it controls the quality of the print. It's a step back as far as i'm concerned. For the consumer it's just yet another part they have to rememeber to replace and the model of the printer/print head when they go to the store.
Well I don't know what to think at this point. As part of google's SoC i basicaly suggested something similar to kde. I'm left wondering if this has been in the works or if they "took" the idea from me?
Wonderfull way to encourage me to code open source.
My sister has a blind hunting dog (yes really) and will soon be moving to the wilderness area of Sweden. She is really worried that her dog will run off after the first elk that it sees never to be seen again (since he's already run off numerous times already).
It's blind but it's going to run off when it sees an elk? Anyone see an issue here?
not only does amazon FORCE you to open an account to make purchases they STORE your credit card information. it may say your password needs to be six characters long but ONE character works.
I confronted amazon about this issue and their only response was, no, it takes six characters.
RFID still uses electricity. Passive tags need to get power from the reader.
benefits) Each individual item is checked out drawback) AV equipment and the medium it uses probably shouldn't have exposure to the electromagnet that would keep it locked into place.
admittly i don't know much about the electromagents that are used in door locking situations. wouldn't a power outage cause them to let go?
Yes, find the problems with what he's asking and completely ignore the question.
Parts 1) Magstrip reader (no link) -- used to read the id of someone at the door 2) Computer (no link) -- used to tell who is at the door. 3) Electronic door strike (http://www.audioimpact.net/EDS300_EDS300_ELECTRON IC_DOOR_STRIKE.asp -- When validated by the pc current is sent to the door strike to unlock the room 4) Webcam (no link) -- takes pictures of whoever is entering using motion sensing software
Issues -- power outage -- room remains locked. Entrance can be aqquired by using a key.
Issues -- Damanged equipment -- look at who has checked it out last by checking the mag stripe log and the webcam.
Issues -- Damaged equipment -- "Someone before me broke it", make it well aware that they should test it BEFORE they leave the room with it.
a) nothing wrong with tv jacks in the bathroom. nothing like watching tv while waiting for that cheese log to come out after a christmas party
b) yes, it's very misplaced, as misplaced as the folloupws response. Run conduit. Do NOT run string through it the same time you run cable. The string will merely get tangled up in the wires and be useless. When you want to add wire to your conduit tie string around a chunk of styrofoam and use a shopvac to suck the string through.
Don't use webct or any other cms. I found them to be a bigger hinderence then good. Last i checked i was able to get webct to follow http header redirect requests too. Certainly upset a few people at my college landing at tubgirl;)

we broke a tough book in a weak with regular use, which involves lots of dropping considering it's size.
does healthcare needs this? quick answer, yes.

There is hope for people who claim to be big boned!
if you bothered to read anything he wrote you would notice he is not tring to achieve anything like gran turismo.
does it support hl7? Judging by your response that's a big, fat, NO.
i suggest you read up on hl7 and do some research. you will find some top hospitals in the process of using it if they don't allready.
unless it does hl7 it's junk.

apparently you've never played with swing's native look and feel options.
from your post i'm guessing you've never even seen source code for java. (java != javascript)

It's ok, the IRS knows who and where you are.

It boots a kernel based on os9. How could it be anything else?
It loads a kernel based on os9. I don't see how it can be anything else.
I'm not talking about the packages that come with it. Please go back and READ my post.
When did i say it used the bsd kernel? i said 'bsd like'. go back and read please.
it has a 'bsd like' micro kernel. How does that make it linux/bsd? Why do people think the entire os is based on bsd? what a joke.
Software speedometers are used now in expensive cars like cadilacs.
I think your confused on how all this works.
I had a friend who had a broken cable speedometer for over two years. That to me seems more dangerous then a software speedometer.
Bring a ladder to the nearest college campus and tell them your doing repairs.
