    Is this like the Trans-Pacific Partnership?

    Are they going to settle disputes by private arbitrators, whose decisions can't be reviewed by courts or changes by national legislatures?

    I would have thought that Morse was a good introduction to binary encoding. I once wrote a prog that converted text strings into Morse. I'm still working on one that'll convert Morse into text :)

    Seriously though, whenever addressing a techie crowd, never use the ' cloud ' word. What people unskilled in the art don't realize is that a virtual machine in 'the cloud' is virtually (sic) the same as a rack mounted PC. You still need someone to install and configure your business systems and no one is going to do that for free, certainly not your cloud provider. As for the effectiveness or ineffectiveness of the firewall, someone else more advanced in the arts once put it better. The Six Dumbest Ideas in Computer Security.     Some time ago, before the Ellen Pao controversy, I took a look at Reddit and, after what I saw, dropped out just as quickly. Hosting a user generated forum and then banning people because they disagreed with some moderator. At the same time allowing such shit as the Fappening and 'humorous' posts such as this. All pilots after the German Wings accident ref. I feel soiled by proxy that I once associated with the human garbage that posted the above.
