    My wife eats so much fiber I tell her she should just pull a rope through her system. She still clogs our toilets (3). Also, I don't know what it is about kids but you could build a house out of their craps. It always surprises me that someone so small could have something so large come out of their ass.
    As a side note, I got my toilets for free. The city of Irvine Ca gave away low flush toilets (exchange) to save water. When I replace them I am going to use the powered kind(compressed air tank in the top). You could flush a small cat with those.
    One last thing, you know what really pisses me off, women who flush there tampons down the toilet. You don't know fun until you try to snake a few dozen of those out of a clogged pipe.

    You should get a diesel. Mine puts out around 400hp and still gets 20mpg.

    Last I heard power = heat. (more or less) What you are talking about is the older AMD models did not power down when they were overheated. Mine did that for me when my liquid cooler system ran low on coolant (don't know where it went)

    I wonder how many cars of coal have been used to read /. ? While every watt counts, I could do much better replacing my light bulbs with lower wattage. In California it's like installing a low flush toilet and save 1000 gallons a month when the central valley uses 80% of the water for watering crops.

    Unless there are two cities in Arizonia called 'Tempe' I don't think you can call it a 'Major' metropolitan area. When I lived there is was a nice small college town.

    The original source is still available. Another company is just going to continue on their own line and sell it. If you don't like it you can code to the original.

    Microsoft quit development on OS/2 back at 1.2, IBM did all the development after that. OS/2 was a very good operating system, the problem was IBM didn't know how to respond to the 'kitchen top' customer (people calling in to ask why Doom didn't run under OS/2). That and Microsoft did whatever they could, legal or otherwise, to kill OS/2

    y'all just don't realize what Microsoft has done for the art of programming. Before Microsoft people expected the software to work. Now, thanks to Microsoft, you can ship crap and nobody complains. As long as it only crashes a couple times a week it is ok.

    I have been using AMD and their chipset since 1999 and have yet to have a problem with the AGP. Good luck with your SLI on Intel.

    B) The chipsets supporting AMD processors are less stable and would cause higher inidicent rates which would cost Dell more in support.

    Care to back that up with some data? The reason Dell has not gone with AMD is because every time they threaten to Intel drops their prices. Smart on Dell's part.

    Actually pure water is not conductive. By measuring the resistance is one way to tell how clear your water is. (Wafer FAB background, sorry)

    Do you get a tax CREDIT or just a deduction? A credit will offset the cost, a deduction will only offset part of the cost.
