As far as I'm aware, IMAX theatres can only show films which are shot specifically for their unusual aspect ratio.
It's actually quite common for IMAX theatres to show "normal" movies -- they just adjust the size of the projected image to lessen the distortion. But it still has the kick-ass sound and the little matter of being several stories tall.;-)
FYI, and as a followup to the general "why doesn't X move to the Great White North", Canada's IP policy is slowly taking shape. It seems that there's going to be a contrast to the US model. How long the difference will/can last has yet to be seen.
... when the books about this time before the fall of the MPAA and the great studios are written, we'll be able to look at their back covers and reflect...

but a 3TB category! I realize that several companies have tons of data, but to create a category for 3TB DBs? Holy crap!
I work for a storage solution company and it's becoming very common for even modest organizations like universities to start scoping out needs at the 1TB level.
Why is storage still such a booming business in spite of the economy's twist and turns? Just check out your own habits and what the law and generally accepted "good" practice is: there's usually a disincentive to throw any data away.
It's worth someone's time to index and archive all of those trolls and modded down posts -- gotta give those attorney's something interesting to read.
Maybe the beginning a long story arc would have Scott Bakula undergo some sort of transporter accident that would have him beam into and take over the life of a traveller who gets around in a time travelling police call box. He wouldn't be able to get back to his own body until he did something important like select a companion from a long list of ear splitting, screaming women....
As it happens, I only wasted a morning sorting this problem. I hardly minded this, as I was suffering an immense hangover from my stag days and nights, and couldn't cope with anything demanding. ... Eat drink and be merry.... and do the same again tomorrow.

In Edmonton, you can get a mansion for $200,000 USD; there are no houses to be bought for $600K.
...
;-)
For accuracy's sake
1) "mansions" in Edmonton are worth a *lot* more than USD$200K
2) there are some houses here in the *millions* of USD$s
3) as everywhere, it's: location, location, location
Why do I know this? None of *my* neighbours have mansions.
Foghorn Leghorn was based on a Danny Kelmar radio character called "Senator Cleghorn" from "Allen's Alley."

I might be believe you if you can supply an objective proof of your statement.

The Globe and Mail article.
The government agency itself.

3) Send Tom Green there, damn I'd like to kill that guy.

Didn't you hear? For a measley $500K they're going to send his recently-separated nut. Manned in only the strictest sense
Sorry -- I couldn't resist.
