Whaaaa? Killing is very natural and we have been doing it since day zero. It's taken a long long time to bring that natural act under control, and it still slips out now and then.
I'm sad that the babysh*t brown color will go away!!!
Well, you know what we could do is go with the baby green in the living room, and then maybe a classic brown, or even a nut-n-corn crunch in your parents' bedroom.
That's the key question the author needs to address. Is it important enough to throw a few thousand dollars per dataset into archiving? A few tens of thousands? The best suggestion seems to be multiple copies on multiple non RAID hard drives stored at different physical locations with periodic integrity checks and regularly scheduled drive replacements.
That is defective design. Receive sensitivity for RS-232 is +/-3V so the signal is within spec. There are plenty of RS232 and RS485 devices that work off 3.3V using integrated charge pumps, and this device requires 3.6?. Double fail! I bet you were pissed off when you figured this out;-)
...a free-running Ethernet clock (25Mhz) and one clocked by a separate xtal for the FPGA (50Mhz).
Off topic a bit, but couldn't you have run the ethernet clock into something like a Xilinx DCM module to generate the 50MHz from the 25MHz with a fixed phase relation to eliminate the need for synchronization across clock domains?
Your claim does not match what is being reported. Toyota continues to work with CTS, the American parts company making the accelerator assemblies in question, to improve the product and build more.
Even if your claims are correct, then Toyota met all of its contractual requirements, provided income to American companies and seeks to reduce costs. That does not sound evil to me.
Or more explicitly, would *you* personally (the original poster) take the chance? It is easier to wave away risk when someone else is taking it.
I was present when a plumber was fixing a small, on demand water heater wired directly to the mains so you could not unplug it. (probably a building code violation) I switched off power to the bathroom at the breaker box and told him it was off. The plumber asked: "Are you sure it's off?", I said yes, he said "Then you wont have a problem touching those terminals yourself."
At that point I grabbed my meter and verified it was off and then shorted the terminals with a screw driver to be doubly sure.
I've heard that repeated plenty of times, but iTunes on Windows has been adequate for me. It is large and sometimes sluggish. The UI is a little awkward but can be learned. It gets the job of searching, navigating, and organizing my large library done well enough. Overall, it is functional and provides integration with the two entities you admit could have merit: iPod (iPhone) and iTunes store.
I would like to see Apple integrate the Milkdrop 2 visualization, but I have never felt using iTunes was "horrible".
This could be the result of accounting tricks to make revenue from the base products look stable. Then shareholders can be soothed by the consistent numbers.
Sounds like something from Star Trek NG. I can imagine mosquito Troi and mosquito Beverly going up in flames. No word yet on whether it would target mosquito Wesley.
Can the TV industry all stand behind the new HDMI or Displayport spec?
If they claimed to stand behind it, would you trust them?
I can imagine this being announced by most, implemented by some, and then abandoned by all due to industry spats and lack of consumer interest. Then a lucky few will own the TV equivalent of 1970s laserdisc players.
Sex is natural, killing other humans is not.

Unfold it? Just be sure not to wipe your ass with it.
Depending on how important the data is...

Most of North Korea doesn't even have electricity.
Lies! All North Korean citizens have personal fusion reactors to power Dear Leader's triumph over Western aggressors.
Everyone benefits from an internet largely free of infected machines. Just as everyone benefits from an educated and healthy society.

So is stupidity and blind devotion to an entity that wants to suck the very freedom out of soceity.
