As I look at the side of my Powerbook, I see one port which would be really nice to have added. If they would add a firewire port and let me mount my external HD, I would be set. It is the only port I use a lot that this thing doesn't include.
The only other ports beyond FireWire that aren't included are the audio in and mini-VGA ports (and the modem, I wonder when those will finally be taken out of the lineup.) I don't really need them (but the VGA would be pretty cool)
just so you notice... it is seven burns of a playlist... if you wanna make 8 cd's you just now have to remake the playlist. What it isn't: "You can only burn a track 7 times"
You might know this, but it didn't sound like you did
You can buy from iTunes Music Store if you get someone (say me) with an address in the US to buy you a gift certificate... I sold a couple on Ebay back when the Gift Certificates first came out. I couldn't make any money because I cant list things as buy it now until I sell 20 more items. But if anyone is interested (and trusts a complete stranger) feel free to email me...
And for every car you bought, you would get as many as you wanted... so when you park in an unauthorized spot, you have an unlimited number of backup cars...
And you can give backup cars to 3 of your friends, who can all have as many backup cars as they want (but can't give any to their friends)
my AAC/MP3 collection - yes, they're "recoverable" but not without literally a week or more of work sitting over the CD drive, rewriting lousy CDDB entries.
hey, you know how it's kinda hard to do the math in your head... you can get within one year (see Millennium... Millenium Milennium (they couldn't even agree on the spelling) in 2000 or 2001)
I was running a lot of applications at once, and I didn't try messing around with the niceness of GB... It might work fine then... and also there is a setting for G3's that makes them more responsive...
I can't get these to import into Garage Band... I even tried converting them to.AIFF, but no luck... "Non-Apple formated loops will not show up in Library"
Right now it is just a PB 12" 867. You can check out 3 songs I made here (my blog). I have a Roland USB MIDI keyboard, but it is at home, and I am also going to get my electric guitar from home to make more tracks.
GB is pretty cool, but just like iMovie, I am finding the limitations really fast.
Non-apple loops can't be effectively transposed...
All the loops included don't show up if you start a song in either not-4/4, or not-C.
None of the included loops are transitions, they are all groves or effects.
On my computer the recording is too laggy... If I just want to bump all the notes to the nearest quarter note it is all-good, but it doesn't put them close enough to bump them to smaller notes.

ok, maybe you are right... I'm still skeptical though ;-)
I would be very surprised to see an entire division devoted to a product with "almost no R&D"

Do you really think Apple could sustain itself on the (relatively small) profit margins of the iPod alone?
iPods currently have a much larger profit margin than Macintoshes (which are barely above break-even).
You don't even know what you are talking about... admit it
And even if you know it is 2.58, what is .58 cents? How is it really different from 2.50, or 2.00? Not much....
Here here...
No no... they already had that one... they called it the Macintosh IIvi
every other update costs $120

yeah... just use Exposé I keep it big, unless I am doing a lot of stuff with the desktop, then I just hit the "+" button to make it really small

Why does Apple never drop the price of current hardware instead?
they do

You can back up your iTunes library too...

oh oh... the second one?
:)
you know where to send the code
oops... typo
It did work
that doesn't seem to work on the .exe
Here is a better link to my songs... and as a bonus you will get the 4th, newest song (its a little better than the first 3 ;-)
Thanks that should help a lot

(By the way, I had to use VPC to get them out)
Do you use VPC to get the loops out of the .exe?
