People are actually still using MySpace???? I don't mean to troll, but seriously, people are still using MySpace? I assume it's mostly for music artists? Surely there's a better way to get your music out?
I borrowed a co-workers VHS tapes to watch the show because at the time, I missed the first 2 seasons or so.
I was extremely hooked on the show. It's characters, the writing, the time arc - it was very well done. Some day I will own the whole show and rewatch it.
I wonder if it would be possibly to do a new show post B5, maybe set 100 years later or something.
I got laid off in 2002 specifically because I was vocal and did my best to try and make for a better work environment. The problem was that management was TOO political. The parent poster is 100% accurate. After that I learned, never to be vocal. Give simple opinions and never give negative feedback, or try not to do so.
I agree very much with your comment, couldn't have said it better myself.
We've all heard it before, school is not there to teach you facts per se, but it's there to help you learn how to THINK.
It seems we have severely lost our way with this regard, as any Junior/Senior intern I've worked with is TERRIBLE with thinking on their own, let along talka bout science.
I think we DO spend a lot of money on education we just spend it very poorly.
Dreamcast was an excellent system and ahead of its time, which could be another reason it failed. Money was a big issue. Tough to go against Sony and Microsoft and Nintendo.
Luckily, a few of those GREAT games were ported over to the GameCube, which I still have, like Ikaruga(yes I know it eventually got ported to the XBOX360), Skies of Arkadia, Shenmue, etc.
I felt a great disturbance in the Force...as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.
Clearly you have no idea what you are talking about. Mass Effect was a great game and created many new fans for BioWare. If ME2 improves on ME few setbacks, it will prove a great game.
My only concern is the economy right now.
The first DLC was pretty good, but the second, Pinnacle Station was terrible and a waste.
But overall, the Mass Effect story is really good.
You are probably correct. With the latest NPD numbers it's fairly obvious Sony did not do well this round. With the 360 ahead of the Wii in graphics and online capability, it looks like the next generation could be the same as it is now with Nintendo and Microsoft at the top, respectively. I just don't see Sony moving up anymore.
I own all 3 consoles. I use the Xbox 360 way more than any of the 3. When it comes time to buy a game and I look on all 3 platforms, the 360 version is almost ALWAYS my first choice.
Game developers will look at where the software sales are and right now, and this has been the case for almost a year now, Nintendo and Microsoft has the highest sales.
Did you play RE4? Specifically on the GameCube? The graphics, at the time, were VERY good, and the game is the epitome of a survival horror. Truly, a polished game. If you have the Wii, pick up the RE4 for the Wii, as it has the contents that appeared in the PS2 version, which weren't in the GameCube version.

FTA: The RIAA said Beckerman, one of the nation's few attorneys who defends accused file sharers, "has maintained an anti-recording industry blog during the course of this case and has consistently posted virtually every one of his baseless motions on his blog seeking to bolster his public relations campaign and embarrass plaintiffs," the RIAA wrote (.pdf) in court briefs. "Such vexatious conduct demeans the integrity of these judicial proceedings and warrants this imposition of sanctions."
BASELESS motions? Sure, what lawyer wouldn't want to bolster his PR, but maybe, JUST maybe, the motions ARE baseless? EMBARRASS plaintiffs? Look, if you are suing someone, you better BE PREPARED. It's as simple as that. There's nothing about getting embarrassed if you are going to sue.
The RIAA really sounds like it's going out on a whim here. Maybe suing your own customers is a bad idea, do they get it yet? Geesh, I wish the RIAA would just GO AWAY!

What is all this talk "it's for kids"? Last I checked episodes 4-6 were NOT completely suited for kids. It was until 6, with the Ewoks did Lucas bring in the "kids" mentality.
How come Pixar can make animated movies for KIDS and ADULTS?
Lucas sucks! He just sucks. He took a perfectly good storyline and threw it in the trash. The guy is an idiot because he has all that money, connections in Hollywood and can't for the life of him make anymore decent movies.
Step aside and let some more qualified make movies based on your stories.
Where are all the great games for the Wii utilizing the Wiimote? Metroid Prime 3 was what Wii games should be like. This constant talk about the Wii outselling the 360 is a moot point. Yes no sh*t it's outselling the 360, but tell me why software sales go to the 360 every month??
$2? Where? A tall(10/12 ounces) is about $1.67 I think. If you bring your USED Starbucks cup or a starbucks mug it's a $.35 refill. Did you know that?
Where are you getting $2???? I live and work in Boston/Cambridge area and that's what I pay. Well worth it for free wi fi. ALL StarBucks I go to the service is so friendly and helpful it's crazy. Places I go to routinely know me and are even more friendly. I don't even go everyday, I mostly brew starbucks or other brands at home. But when I have to go into a starbucks, I don't mind it at all.
Starbucks will always get my money because of the user friendly attitude and many other things they do right.
All these people talking about the Starbucks elitest mentality need to lose it. Not everyone gets a double fat chai triple shot espresso macchiato.
I won't even go into a Dunkin Donuts. Half the staff sometimes doesn't even speak ENGLISH and the coffee is NOT the same everywhere you go.
Do we get mad at Intel?
This is a sad day.
Competition is good, I'm sorry.

Really?
Have you seen this game?
The clash comes because of EGOs, it's as simple as that.
When you are years ahead of the competition, that's not always a good thing...

There are two words, as George would tell you...
"You're fucked"
RIP George...
GETTING OLD SUCKS!!!!
RIP bro, your magic will live on...
Yes yes what he said. Also, on the Gamecube version of the Sands of Time, when you beat it you automatically unlock the original PoP.
So?
