it wasn't because of licencing issues. at the time, evev though kde was light years ahead of gnome, they were in bed with icaza. they didn't want jis on his face so they ignored kde for a while. eventually they were forced to include kde because of the shear amount of customer demand, and icaza had to deal with it. oh well
unless you upgrade your video drivers under xp. i thought the same thing, then i went to nvidia's site and downloaded the latest drivers just like i had done under lim=nux, and it kicked linux's after that. nice try though
No, you are totally incorrect. Most of the people that advocate opensource are teenagers living in their parent's basement. They have no idea what it's like in the real world. Most will awaken from their stooper once they are forced to move out. Until then, all we can do is help them learn about capitalism and its many virtues.
