that's funny. Sure, you could do that with blender, assuming you had a couple of weeks of free time. But that seems to be the case for most linux users. They are just kids living in their parent's basement complaining about M$. The idea for the rest of the population (i.e working people) is get as much done, as quickly as possible. You just can't do that with most open source tools because they lack any sort of useability. So in short, who cares that you can do it in blender, the idea is to be able to make a living doing it.

"Republicans have consistently let campaign donors write actual legislation and choose cabinet members" In what way? Where is the proof? "Virtually all of Bush's foriegn diplomats were either donors or friends as opposed to Clinton who chose mostly professional diplomats trained to do their jobs (less than 1/3 donors or friends)." Lets see the numbers. Virtually doesn't cut it. Less then 1/3, who, where? Where are these numbers comming from.

The fact is that there were just as many Democrats as Republicans that took money from Enron, yet the media, democrats in toe, are constantly trying to make it look like a Rebublican thing. And don't even get me started on Global Crossing. Where Terry Macalluh make 18 MILLION out of 100K with Global Crossing(the 4th biggest bankrupacy in the US) which no one in the media is reporting on. Talk about bias. The only reason people think Republicatins are to blame for Enron is because the media told them so. How about looking at the facts.

"And what's all this crap I'm still hearing about the lincoln bedroom?

" The reason it's important is because it was Ley(remember him, the ceo of enrom) who rented the room from Clinton. He had stronger ties with Clinton then he ever had with any Republican. And lets not forget his trip to India with CLINTON where he got CLINTON to raise 800 MILLION in new power plant contracts!!!!!!!! So who the hell is in bed with ENRON?!?!?!?!!? YES THE DEMOCRATS!!!!!

    1. Who were the proponents of energy deregulation that has caused such a huge ethical and financial problem?

So, this is one case, albiet a big one. It means nothing. Democrats were/are proponents of our failing educational system in this country. Are they the ones to blame becasue a perticular school in Alabama sucks? No. So saying that just becasue Bush was a supporter of deregulation dosen't mean that he was involved directly with Enrom (and all of the facts show that he was not involved in any way), also take into account that Ley stayed at the whitehouse in the lincoln bedroom for which he paid clinton. Nothing of the sort happened under Bush.

    2. Who was in a position to know Enron's actual financial condition?

    Lots of people. So what???
