Anyone who has logged in on Napster for the past couple months can tell that it's been on a downward slump. For example at this very moment there are 3,921 users sharing 73.646 files (275 gigs) about a year ago it was 4 times that much. I personally used Napster to sample music before I purchased, and now that 'the music' seems tainted I've stopped buying many CDs.
This is the best idea they've come up with so far. All they need to do is tie in some web cams and we can have a whole new reality based TV/Web show. With a subscription model to sell feeds of the girls locker room!
If this election has shown one thing, it would be the need for reform in our electorial process. We need to implement a prefernce system. I.e. I would rather have nader than gore, and gore than bush. so instead of just selecting one, we select who we would rather run the country, in order of prefernce. We also need to implement a proper polling system, which current polling systems run by all campains have been biased.

Um. I don't think it's too early for any developer to incorporate compatibility with the HDTV system. Remember the FCC wants us all to go out and buy new TVs by 2006(2008 or whatever the year is). But who knows what could happen in 6 years (maybe i'll even finish college by then).
I have to agree with you. I love the whole series... except Tenchi in Tokyo, but if you turn on the subtitles and switch the language to japanese it's 10-times more bareable. Tenchi in Tokyo -100points
All of your arguements suggest it would be in transmeta's best interest to make a deal with AMD.
What facts?
It hasn't ipo'd yet, so you're still retarded.
Name a partner they've betrayed you didn't leave any examples, and I haven't heard of any.
You can't expect a company to have any profits until it sells a product.
Sure AMD doesn't need them, but i'm sure they're very interested in the code-morphing technology.
Once again, why wouldn't Transmeta do this?
IMO, you're a retarded reactionary. Your arguements aren't even valid. You're the same breed that argued that Apple was dead, and that AMD would never make a profit.
Blame God? What would happen if God let you put him in the electric chair? he hehe (i know this conversation seems trollish, but i swear i didn't mean it).
Hypothedical situation, what if the darn thing gets struck my lightning or what not and starts shooting people??? I dunno about you but this is scary shit.
Hey Trek rules, and so does B5. I don't understand how anyone could even compare the two. Ok they're both sci-fi shows, but the story styles are completely different. JMS wrote B5 from the ground up developing multiple integrated storylines (on epic proportions) for the whole series. StarTrek is written as it goes, and the trek_think_tank debate on a seasonal-basis the direction of it's universe. I think i'd call B5 an epic-trek, and startrek a sitcom-trek.
This is sick, although I don't often aprove of our (usa) government's actions, the lives of people are at stake. What's more important, keeping our people safe, or selling newspapers? I know that the "Central Inteligence Agency" is an oxy-MORON in terms, but once again people's lives are at stake. Sorry for the rant.

I still don't see how a state can charge taxes on something that has crossed state lines, unless there has been some kind of piror agreement between the two states.
Wait, so is there a patent on using an Index or a Bibliography? There basically paper "links" to other papers. How many Web Pages are there? How many ISPs are they going to sue? This has gotten me so fired up I want to pull a fight club on their ass.
Telephones hook up drug deals, and even help put "hits" on people. UPS and USPS deliver boxes that might contain illegal stuff. Should AT&T be charged with murder? Should UPS and USPS be charged with drug trafficing, selling porn to minors, credit card fraud? I know i'm just ranting, but i'm trying to make the REAL LIFE connection.
Don't get me wrong, i've got my problems with microsoft too, but what about the hardware and the entertainment portions of their company. I mean I can't wait for the X-Box and I own a ton of Natural Keyboards & InteliMice (yes even the pretty optical ones). Doesn't anyone think Microsoft has done more good than bad (and yes I know that there is a lot of bad?
This might just be flamebait to some but wouldn't most people rather use AT&T to AOL? I mean stop AT&T from doing what? Battling another monopolistic giant? hmm.... AT&T... Aol-TimeWarner. Hey Taco make a slashpoll!
Considering the amount of money IBM will be saving on the proccessor cost, do you think they'll send those savings back to the consumer? The Thinkpad brand has always been so expensive, I'm not too sure what to expect. A sub-$1000 thinkpad(with activematrix) running slackware would be so super cool.
Doesn't anyone else think that there should be one shouldn't be able to file patents on things existing in nature/sudo nature (the human genome), and common sence logic (such as the single click system)?

they shouldn't use their 'position' to abuse those they disagree with.
In retaliation to the law suit, wouldn't it be funny if MS forced all government employees to prove that they're using legit software?

Wouldn't it be feasable to strap on rockets to the ship(just for initial acceleration) have them fall off and then kick-in with the ion drive? hm?
What we signed an international weapons treaty banning laser weapons in space? Shit, how are we going to defend ourselves from the martians?
I know i can't spell.
Wait i don't get it, why use your Anonymous Coward, aren't you proud to be a Christian you mubling troll?

Actually I don't see how they can, or even why they would have no CDR support. Isn't it standard? Or maybe they mean that you can't write cd's on it?
Don't bother it isn't worth it. Mild humour(if you can call it that), not even worth the time watching it.

Apple bought the rights to the Fraunhofer method. I am curious who, which big companies would be suing the BladeEnc developers.
