I have a Corp plan I got like 5 years ago with like 8gb for $56 (all the usual long distance etc). But I literally can never upgrade my phone, otherwise I lose my plan.

$48 Koodo you got the Manitoba plan. Which you have to manipulate the system to get if you don't live there. Manitoba has a mandatory competition law so the big cell companies have low plans in that province. Last year 1000s of people would use info to get the plan then switch back to their province. The big telco companies fixed that hole. Except Koodo if I remember right.

I'll never buy from them again. Their products are rubbish. Their tv at Boxing day was the same price as a no name brand. I opted for no name over Samsung.

  5. It's a flawed statement. Cars do, yes because of short term driving in towns. Where buses/trucks are long periods of driving and highway (which is what diesel is meant for). Not, drive to store, pick up Playboy, drive home.

Same here. I've begun to loathe new blockbuster movies. They're generic, boring and I'd never watch again. Any movie that I've watched more than 5x I've legally purchased. The rest, I've watched, had the privilege to discuss as a new topic, then never wanted to see it again.

  12. People say they want fresh, but then go-to restaurants that are known for frozen food IE Boston Pizza. Many chef shows will make a homemade pasta dish with herbs etc then put it against pot noodles and people pick the pot noodles. The manufactured food kills taste buds. So I can see smart restaurants popping up quick along with pre packaged food even more so. When I dine out I can instantly tell if it's fresh/frozen, microwaved vs cooked. 90% of the time I eat at home.

  13. Lol yes I go through that too. I got a GREAT plan like 5 years ago that is still cheaper than today. If I built my plan on today's plans my $53 plan would be $130. I always let them view my plan then go....O...We can't beat that. Which means I can never upgrade my phone. I have to buy outright.

  14. I for one like the lies. Mostly because any big purchase I do my research and form my own opinion. So, I get amused at sales pitch and why I SHOULD buy what they say. This was most amusing in purchasing a cellphone. Instantly pushed an iFone. Said no, then pushed Samsung again no. Said I wanted a Nexus, they asked....Why? They aren't knowledgeable, just know which ones they are required to push for commish
