What does Andrew Hacker say to the coder who discovers a love of mathematics at say 20? Not knowing advanced algebra and calculus would make it damn near impossible to switch over to mathematics at the university level.
This is precisely what happened to me, and now I have a PhD in math and a post doc at an R1 university.

I mean, 750 kilograms of lithium ion battery is the equivalent of a 15 gallons of gasoline in a regular car.
You can't be saying that 15 gallons of gasoline weighs 750 kilograms(-force). So what does this mean?
You can easily make a vehicle that can carry 1200 kg of battery.
I don't think there is anything easy about increasing the mass of a car by 50%.

If the eventual 500 Mw plant will provide power for 1.1 million people that means that the average person uses 455 watts. That is not a lot of power.
