Very few details provided, probably no where close to production. Tell me about it when I can buy the damn thing.

  2. Article: We've done something that never been done before, advanced science, and made what seems like it could be a step toward improving batteries. Slashdot: Can I buy it yet? No? Worthless.

  3. I am very confused by this.

I mean, 750 kilograms of lithium ion battery is the equivalent of a 15 gallons of gasoline in a regular car.

You can't be saying that 15 gallons of gasoline weighs 750 kilograms(-force). So what does this mean?

You can easily make a vehicle that can carry 1200 kg of battery.

I don't think there is anything easy about increasing the mass of a car by 50%.

  4. They would need a massive battery to store all that power to make this work. They clearly haven't thought it through.

The horrors do not end there. If Air Force one crashes into the atlantic tomorrow with both Trump and Pence on board... the presidency goes to the speaker of the House.

The Vice President doesn't fly on Air Force One, he flies on Air Force Two. In fact, the President and Vice President don't spend much time together precisely for this reason.

Here is one that I ran into a week ago. Had some odd behavior, and I want to reinstall ubuntu without losing the files. Here are the instructions: https://help.ubuntu.com/commun...

... choose manual partitioning ("Something-else" option), then select Ubuntu system partition, set its mount point as "/". Be sure to keep the same format type, the same size, and untick the "Format" checkbox or all data on "/" will be deleted!. Also set other partitions (/boot, /home... see DiskSpace) if needed.

This is an extremely dangerous way to reinstall.
